The paranormal.

i know that a lot of the people on here have turned their backs on the idea of a deity deciding that god does not exist.

but what about the unseen spirit world generally such as poltergeists, jinns, voodoo, etc.

if you have become agnostic, atheist, or just don't care since leaving, do you think that there are spirits out there or have you decided that is also hokum?

I've personally witnessed too much to not believe in spirits or whatever you want to call them.

You may have witnessed "things" but doesn't prove the paranormal...if you could you would be a millionaire.

JW's are utterly clueless to facts as to what is actually going on and its meaning. They are "Captive to the Concept" that the their religion is true and the GB are directed no matter what the GB say or what they dictate.

as a "deep pimo" i can say that there is a confirmed re-branding.

the coordinators committee formed a focus group from service and teaching committees.

the results of that group roughly three+ years ago, with gb approval, trickled down to the other committees and eventually into what we have been seeing before our eyes in the org and local congs.. pick an organizational level and see the shift.

I attended the Pioneer school in 1997 and the message was back then "Be a friend and just have a conversation about what is important to them. No literature required just bible or ~~tablet~~ in hand. Feel what they feel. Be a friend" very much as you say.

Nothing really has changed in that aspect.

today i returned to check a 'gossip' that is running around in brazilian exjw forums.. they are stating that is almost certain they will make a big change in their doctrine maybe this year yet in the annual meeting.

they say people in warwick were commenting on this.

I believe the GB 2.0 believes that they do not need to readjust anything because it is "so close".

I don't expect any new major ~~shite~~ light this year.
