  New Light on Sheep and Goats?

  lloyd evans has just tweeted a video he will be releasing soon on the "change" to the meaning of the sheep and goats and when that is to occur.. i've missed any discussion on that on here or anywhere?

  it seems it was part of the 2020 annual meeting the gb had?.

  any info on this?.

  inspired by a previous post i wrote and thought it deserved a place of its own .. i hope it helps people on their journey out of the wt/jw religion .. their is no going back after discovering the "truth" about the wt/jw religion.. its the path of freedom from enslavement to a man made religious organization that was born in america, a nation that has spawned numerous charlatan religious organizations, especially in the 1700`s to 1900`s .and even beyond..

  Once you understand that the GB/FDS are just men and not directed/inspired the whole house of cards comes crashing down.

  The fact their self appointment in 1919 is based on 1914, 2520 years from 607 BC and that date is easily disproved as wrong for the destruction of Jerusalem then its quite easy to cause the house of cards to come down for others if they research 586/607.

  You can't go back after you know the truth about all of that.

  Don Cameron's book "Captive to a Concept" was the nail in the coffin for me. It is an astounding book highlighting the trap JW's are in. "Crisis of Conscience" for sure also helped but Don's book just tipped it for me after I researched as a PIMI elder about the destruction of Jerusalem.

  I was challenged by a minister on the doors that 607 BCE was made up by the JW's so I spent 6 months researching it...which left me lurking on here...Cedars website etc and then Don's book was it and I resigned as an elder and a few months later faded never to go back.

  We in the UK are dealing with COVID all wrong

  yeah, so boris johnson has plunged the whole of the uk back into a second lockdown.

  kids are still going to school (thank goodness!

  ) but this second lockdown is ruining the economy and killing small businesses.. the first lockdown was forgivable because, at the time, nobody knew what we were dealing with.. but now, we know more and more about covid-19.. it is lethal to elderly people (the average age of deaths with covid in the uk is 82 years - the average age of deaths without covid in the uk is 81 years).. it is also lethal to obese people and people with diabetes.. i'd imagine hiv+ people are another vulnerable group.. but to everyone else, catching covid is fairly similar to catching the flu.

  The death rate of COVID may be small to an average person but its a new disease that can easily spread and is lethal to certain groups of people.

  Without lockdown vast amounts of those people would be dead...lockdown saved lives.

  But it seems all hopes are pinned on a vaccination otherwise it would simply be a pattern of lockdowns and at some point you have to then weigh up the high risk of COVID to these groups versus the detriment to the economy.

  Fact is we are only in a second lockdown in the UK, there is progress on a vaccination and thousands if not millions all round the world in those high risk groups are still alive.

  My sister (cancer) and elderly parents would certainly be dead if it were not for the lockdowns.

  IMO Schools being open makes no sense....kids do not exhibit symptoms but potentially can spread it to the high risk groups.

  Height of mountains before and after the flood .

  it was stated many years ago in answer to how did the flood cover the top of all the mountains on earth in noah`s day.?.

  mount everest ?.

  and it was explained away by saying that the mountains before the flood were a lot smaller / lower than the mountains that exist today.. so there was no problem .. when the deluge began with so much volume of water now covering the earth ( water being heavy ) pushed down into the weakest parts of the earth and raised up in other parts of the earth to where we now have higher mountains than existed before the flood of noah`s day.. in other words mount everest didn`t exist at its present height before the flood and neither did any other high mountain that exists today ,the topography all changed with the noachian flood.

  It was 100 billion coming back in the Reasoning book was it not? But given each passing year where the amount of deaths rises as population booms it will be a lot more?

  Always amuses me that the dubs ignore evolution yet must believe in a super evolution to go from 2300 BC at the flood of Noah with very limited species to the abundant life we now have only 4,000 years later after flood!

  Evolution just sped up in the years but then evolution is not true.

  Go figure.

  Congregation Letter - 2021 Magazines Delayed???

  we had a letter read in our cong.

  last week that said the public wt and awake would be delayed during the beginning of 2021. meaning we would just use the 2020 version into 2021 and there would be no new ones at the beginning of 2021 until an undetermined time sometime during the 1st half of 2021. at least that is the gist that i remember.

  it was in what atlantis provided but there was no further detail....very brief.. any more intel or speculation on this?

  How utterly bizarre that the Study Watchtower continues to ignore the coronavirus. The January 2021 has a study on being anxious, without mentioning the virus at all? Or maybe I missed a reference! Because that’s unreal.

  I've seen you post this a few times and I agree it is very strange...have they ever mentioned in great detail COVID in any of their publications yet?

  Collapse of JW Org - Possibly on the Horizon?

  what i find interesting is even some of my pimi family is embracing the reality that all is not well with jw.org and that many current jws are just going through the motions due to not having a good way out of the org.

  wondering what could realistically lead to the collapse of jw.org in the not distant future?

  does anybody know what this message will contain ?

  is it designed to provoke a response that will bring persecution on the religion ?

  or is it just going to be some meaningless weak campaign to get the rank and file all excited about it and achieving nothing.. or is it going to suggest to the government officials that this mob could very well be the next jonestown /wacol incident and we need to act now.

  I'd say its more of an exercise to bolster the dubs, they will think they are really making a point and that the end is near.

  99.9999% of government officials will disregards any message but the millions of dubs will cream themselves over hitting Satan's system hard with a message.

  I noted too how Gillies "skirted" around many questions with his answers not answering the actual questions.

  It sadly does not have the same impact as Angus did in the Australian questioning.
