Yeah?
I guess they eased up since the 1980's!
Hey, did they tell you that same thing about the 'Hollywood Turndowns'?
i was just browsing through my files, and came across a few cool / neat / weird photos i thought i'd share.
these are from my trip to bethel in mid-april of last year.. .

What the...??? HAHAHAHAHA!!!
First, that annoying kid in the last photo?...I OWN THE EXACT SAME NECKTIE!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! (Seriously, I do).
Also, I remember taking the Bethel tour. We had inside access to get on the roof of the building. The bootleg tourguide told us that the WTS turns down millions of dollars each year from Hollywood who want to use the roof for some scenic shots of NYC.
Finally, "As you can see, it was tight, hot, and smelled like fish. Like hell, but faker."....PRICELESS!!!
ever knock on a door and have an outstanding call for what ever reason, good or bad.?.
i cant name names because i'll end up giving my old congregations name / area away and i don't want to do that.
i was out one sunday afternoon with an elder we were doing a nice area but having no interest, we knocked on a door and a scruffy looking bloke came to the door (i recognised him straight away), the elder presented the mags and got a no thanks and started to put the mags away as the door started to shut.
I had a recurring call/return visit/bible study with an older woman, but not elderly.
Anyway, after I came to my senses and ran a flea-flicker on the Dubs, I telephoned for her to apologize for feeding her a load of crap all those times I "witnessed" to her.
I gave her the JW anti-drug, and now she admits that she never really bought into all of my WT spew.
.
hiya all.
i just wondered this becus i know lots of people have lost faith in god and the bible.. but if today something happened that proved 100 percent that god existed, would you go back to serving him?.
if God proved he was there would you serve him?
If I worked at McDonald's and he placed an order, then perhaps yes.
ok i will admit to creating a horrible thread title just to get you to look!
of course black people don't have a monopoly on rhythm.
i just wanted to brag (a little late but still) that my daughter's high school won the percussion high honors trophy at western band championships in november in long beach.
Mixed people have the monopoly on everything!
Great photos!!!
Congratulations to your daughter (and her proud parents).
i had a chance to take a photo shoot of billygoat.
i had to show this off to you....because she is very shy about showing it.
maybe shy is the wrong word, but it is the best one i could think of.
these are photos from my 36th birthday.
i was born january 1, 1970.. but, we partied on december 30!.
ps...i'm the man with the leather jacket.
I'm such a loser that I couldn't even be born at midnight and have my 15 minutes of fame.
I was born 4:40 in the morning.
after leaving the jws did you have any vivid or significant dreams that involved them, elders, cos, or r&f?
did you try to resolve outstanding issues with them in these dreams?
I haven't been to a meeting for more than three years and I still have dreams about being at a meeting, or at a gathering, or at a circuit assembly. I am sitting there BORED STIFF! I keep plotting in my mind how to leave. Last week, for the first time ever, I had a dream that Armageddon was here and I was in a house full of strangers. Big Jah Jah was pouring a heavy rain on the earth with strong gusts of winds.
Ironically, we survived!
I think that coming to this Forum and reading the various posts draws out things that are hidden in our brains.

Hey, Bryan.
I've never been to Texas, so, unless you've visited the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania, we probably have never crossed paths.
Of course, I have appeared on America's Most Wanted before.
