Hello. Hadn't been here in a while. Nice to see the place swarming with activity. I miss Beck_Melbourne. Is Fred Hall still a cat?
this might be a bit more challenging than my guitarists thread and music group thread, but hey we're just havin' some fun here.
it can be rock, pop, blues, country (gag) sorry it's a personal thing for me no offense, reggae, or oldies.
i'll leave it up to you, the board to decide.

And not necessarily in that order. Also, I left out some brilliant Brazilian singers.
hey everybody.. as you may or may not know, i moved from philly to phoenix exactly one year ago because of a job transfer.
i really love it here in the phx.
it feels like home.. if you're in the usa, philadelphia has been getting a lot of negative press regarding the murders that are occurring lately.
Wow!
I am impressed and touched (but, not surprised) by all of the well-wishes.
Thanks again.

Your words were/are very much appreciated.
i find out that the "sweetest" girl in the congregation is one of the biggest sluts in town!
she was into me, and here i thought she was sincere in the truth and i never made a move, because i was honourable.. i was so lock, stock, and barrel in this cult, so sincere, it makes me sick.
i didn't realise how two-faced and fake everyone in it was until i left and now all the people out are hanging out with the people in!.
Yeah... it can be a bit of a shock sseing those things that you neglected to see before.
For what it's worth, you should see if she'll break a lil somethin-somethin off for you now.

If you're in the USA, Philadelphia has been getting a lot of negative press regarding the murders that are occurring lately. Unfortunately, my 43 year old cousin (Joey) was one of the victims last week. He was shot 5 times and laid on the street, dead, for 36 hours according to the police. Still don't know what the motive was, but hopefully someone will eventually face justice.
So, I find a decent rate to fly back east and I end up going to Dulles (outside of DC). My dad lives in Maryland, so he and my brother picked me up at the airport. My dad, not even 5 minutes into the ride, says, "Well, I have some news for you. I have cancer". He has prostate cancer, and he is going in for some more tests this week and next. The good news is that he went for the check-up every year. So, the assumption is that the prognosis will be good for my dad.
Anyway, thanks for taking a few moments to read about what has been happening.
PS: HAVE YOUR PROSTATE CHECKED EVERY YEAR, ESPECIALLY BEGINNING AT AGE 40.
does anybody know or have any idea?
my niece told me that they've reduced the district conventions (english speaking as far as i know) by two this year.
is there already a post on this somewhere?
Maybe they thought Snoop was performing in Long Beach that day.
I don't know how many Dubs are in SoCal, but I wonder how many Exers are there and in Phoenix.
remember them days @ dcs where we'd all get up at some god awful hour to make hoagies for the lunch time crowd?.
and shasta was the cola of choice?
does anyone know how those vendors were negotiated?
In Pennsylvania (Philly), they eventually changed from Shasta to Vess. It was a weird brand. Vess called iteslf the 'Billion Bubble Beverage" and the can boasted "NO CHOLESTEROL".....Duh! Does ANY soda have cholesterol???

Pizza was always my choice of grub.
It cost, like, 10 tickets.
