I just wanted to stop in and hand out the cigars!
Congratulations.

most of the stuff posted here is negative, hateful, and blasphemous against god.
even if many of you are right in saying that the jws are wrong on many and important issues, that does not make you right.
so unless you are convinced that there is no biblical god you are facing serious trouble when you die or if the lord comes during your lifetime.
I have a respect for people who DO believe in God. A respect that keeps me from jumping in, and saying things to them like "You are wasting your time! Wake up and smell the coffee!"
I would never preach my lack of belief to anyone. So why is it I wonder that they feel the need to correct us, or say that we are blasphemous? Hasn't it been made clear that some of us are atheist?
The arrogance of christianity never fails to show it's face. Obviously, since we do not believe that God exists, then blasphemy doesn't really mean a whole lot does it?
And please don't say "well please show me respect by not blaspheming in front of me." How much respect do you show the Buddist, or the Hindu? Would you eat a steak in a restaurant, and there was a Hindu sitting at the table in beside you? Would you drink coffee if you were sitting at a table with a mormon that belives that you can't have caffine?

I had so much to say in my reply, but as I read the thread, I saw that you guys have covered everything that I wanted to say. You guys are god. [;0]

The risk being what? That your "loving merciful God" will slaughter us and our children? That he will murder my 1 year old son? I think I'm better off not worshipping your God. He's beginning to sound a lot like Al Capone. In fact, when someone leaves the mafia, don't they kill them? Are we "spirtually" dead in your eyes?
so there is going to be a new kms book.. a big one.. everyone will need one.. how much money can they make from new publication like this.. then a new isaiah book.. everyone will need one, and then one or two to place.. anyone out there handy with the counting beads and can come up with some figures, or am i being cynical.
Yeah, but ain't it great that you can walk into a Kingdom Hall and ask for it, and then just walk out without giving a penny. After they instituted the "voluntary donation" arrangement, I never paid for squat.
in every news group, discussion board and chat room there seems to be a few individuals that never seem to completely grasp the art of thinking.
their need to disrupt and irritate reach superstar status in the realm of stupidity.
the desire for attention and recognition though sophomoric post's and chat room spamming becomes as much a part of the entire internet experience as the valuable and useful contributions of others.
lol...The H.A.A.
To those that didn't win this month, dont forget:

i missed one day of the 2001 district convention.
i heard from someone seated nearby that, beginning in 2003, the theocratic ministry school will be newly formatted.
does anyone here know what that new format will be?
No counsel slips!!?? That was the most fun part! Watching people get graded on "gestures" or "Eye Contact" was fun! I always answered 'c' on multiple choice questions for the written review. You can never go wrong with the old faithful 'c'.

as some of you might know i'm not a jw, but married to one.. all though i have clear opinions about the wtbts i havent told my wife or my family in law yet what i think of their religion.. therefore they often talk about whats going on in their con.
without worrying about me hearing some of it.. this weekend i was told that one of the fellows from our con.
had been stealing from his workplace and had been giving a public.
About a month after I was d'fd for somking, my first wife and I split up. No one in the congregation knew that I was smoking. Boy oh boy, was I made out to be the cheating husband! LOL What's so funny is that after we split up, it was another year before I actually "did the deed".
I guess when you really think about it, Jehovah's Witnesses entertainment is quite limited. No 'r' rated movies and such. I remember wanting to ride with certain people for field service just because I knew that they had all the juicy stuff. How sad and pathetic.
