  ok.. i know i've been a bit of a buster in the past, but this is for real.

  there is a site out there, and apparently a demand, for modified housepets.

  in a nutshell, what these ahem... [people] do is take a kitten, sedate it, insert the poor thing into a glass bottle with air holes drilled into it, and run tubes into it to feed it, and tubes into it to take care of everything else.

  WOW! Kitten in a jar! That's great! I wonder how long the shelf life is? I'm sure that my pantry will be full now. Kitten is soooo good with a little sweet and sour sauce! It's great that I can stock up now...because after about 1/2 an hour, you're hungry again!

  this is sort of a take-off of the "what should the wt do" thread.. i need to get together a board of directors and elect a president and officers.

  we need to figure out a doctrine, a manifesto, and a set of disciplinary rules.

  we need to figure out a way to fund our new movement.

  OH my God! I can't believe that I'm just now seeing this!

  Ok TR, I want to be "The Coruptor". I'll be in charge of distributing illegal narcotics and promoting fornication. This way, they will have serious sins to confess to PLH and will have to make big monetary donations to redeem themselves. I can even turn our assemblies into rave parties!

  P.S. Promoting fornication means that I will have to suffer through sleeping with many many women. This will be a difficult job, but I think I can hack it.

  now this is a neat subject!!

  i am a genealogy freak, and have researched my family back to the middle ages and beyond, on both sides.

  i so much want to know about them, and what they looked like, and how they lived, that i have dreamed it.

  If any of you have ever seen "Crossing Over With John Edward", he tells everyone to pay close attention to their dreams because this is a method that our loved ones can use to communicate with us from the other side.
  I've never had any dreams like this but that doesn't mean that it isn't real. Of course, I've never really had anyone close to me die either.
  It's possible of course that John Edward is a crock, but his mediation looks real enough to me.

  Demons / Urban Legends! Which Is It????

  has anyone on this board ever experienced contact with demons?.

  i have heard demons talked about for years, however i have never known anyone that has had any real experiences with them, i have only heard storys.. .

  Julien: How many videos of unexplained phenomena have you seen, yet quickly dismissed because it hasn't happened to you? You can't say that there hasn't been any footage caught on tape, because there has. Unfortunately, we did not own a camcorder at the time.

  The couple that moved in after us, only stayed for about two months before they moved out too(I don't know why). The house has remained vacant for the last ten years. I believe that the current owners use it for storage.

  how is a regular week as a jw?number of meetings and hours of service bible studys etc.?.

  do they celebrate any holidays or have any holidays of their own?.

  what jobs can a jw not be?.

  Hi Law,
  I'll go through an average week from my JW past.
  Sunday Morning-- 10am-12:15pm at the Kingdom Hall. Public Talk and study of the Watchtower. (some meet for door to door service after the meeting)

  Tues. night 7pm-8pm at either someone's house or the kingdom hall for a book study. (whatever WT book is assigned for the time)

  Thur. night 7pm-9pm at kingdom hall for "ministry school and service meeting"

  Many spend their days going door to door for many hours.

  They do not celebrate any holidays.
  They observe one day of year. The day of Jesus death.

  Pretty much any job that would require you to carry a gun (police, military, armed security) is out.
  Any political or military job is out.
  Any job that would keep you from attending the meetings is seriously frowned upon.
