i'm sure you've all noticed that we have grown quite a bit over the last few months and seem to get busier every week with more people joining every day.. while i do my best to read and monitor all the threads on the forum to make sure that no one causes trouble it is becoming very difficult to do this all the time.
with this in mind, i'd like to ask for some volunteers to help keep an eye on things who i will setup with some extra permissions.. i don't intend for the forum to be 'ruled over with an iron fist' or anything like that.

Well said Prisca. I was also a thrid generation JW. I have experienced many things and hope that these experiences could in some way help someone who asks for it.
I've seen so many people that let being an ex-jw take over their life, and I never want to become like that.
I just wanted to let you know that I agree with your comments. There is a lot more to life than being an ex-jw.

When I post here, it's because I feel that I have found a group of real friends that have gone through the same BS that I have. I'm not here to preach.
If someone needs support, or has a question, I do my best to answer and support them. But I have no desire whatsoever to cram stuff down peoples throats. Nothing irritates me more than seeing five posts in a row from one person doing their "preaching work".

I obviously have no love for the organization, but they do teach the following of Jesus. What do you mean by that quote? I guess I'm questioning whether you were actually a witness? The comments in your post aren't very common among ex jws.
I'm not being a jerk, I'm just curious. Am I alone in this thinking guys?
