El blanko "or do you think I am a liar and by extension my friend? "
Blanko there are other options. You could be mistaken or deluded or even right .But if you are right why would you expect someone just to belieive you?
If I believed anything peopele told me that would make me stupid. If I only believe things that I believe are proven to be true or have substantial evidence is that not wiser?
The picture need to be in context with an recognisable object to ascertain whether they are just artifacts or something different.

Into the mystic (an experience).
by El blanko inthe following i wrote to a friend this morning and doctored slightly for this forum.
can any of you relate to this kind of mystical experience and if you would be kind enough, would you mind me quoting any experiences listed to my friend?
please be aware that the letter uses language to detach me away from the watchtower (thus church, instead of congregation etc).

I haven't read the entire topic by the way.
"Well by definition of the word paranormal, if my friend James had summoned forth those orbs by the 'power of his brain' that would still be paranormal activity."
Thats not what I was talking about. Those pictures show nothing out of the ordinary, why are they not in context with anything apart from the flat background?
If he can make orbs appear let him prove it those pictures prove nothing.
There needs to be repeated and confirmrd observation of any phenonima in order to validate it. -

A little something to remember for or you paranormal believing types is that over entire consicous experience is produced by the brain in reaction to outside stimulas and internal stimulas.
For example or vision ,hearing and taste are produced by the brain when it recieves the appropriate stimuli form light waves , sound waves or chemicals. When you taste a bitter food , chemicals in the food stimulate your taste bubs which then tell the appropriate area of your brain to make a bitter tatse. The taste is not in the food. The taste is in the brain, only the stimulas is in the food.
Our brain can cause the sensation of a sense or qualia without this ouside stimulas on occation. It does so each night to some degree when we sleep and outside stimulas is at a minimum.
In order to have evidence of a paranormal experience you would first have to prove that this what not created by your brain.
Can you do this? -

Request from All the UK Peeps
by FiveShadows ini am currently attempting to get my passport and am very eager to visit the uk.
i don't want to go there and get stuck at some cheap tourist trap, nor do i want to spend a crap load of money on hotel only.
the prices i look online, usually, as i always find them to be, are extremely over priced.

IfI need to save money when visting somwhere I make sure i find somewhere that does a good breakfast, full English plus everything else. That keeps me full for most of the day.Lunchtime i will get stuff from a supermarket , good offers for £2-3 .Then eat out at night.
Dont go into resturants with pictures of food outside.
Indian resturants or a pub meal are probably best value.
London deserves more time than elsewhere if your into city life, I don't know why so many British people are more enthusastic about the place its one of the worlds best cities.Musems and art galleries are free.(apart from the privately run ones).Try to go to the areas around the centre as they are more interesting, and stay where theres a close tube line.Ealing in west London is a lot cheaper than central London and has lots of cheap B&B's.Book one nigh somwhere comfythe first night and then look round the area the next day for a good offer. -

Why do animals die?
by ezekiel3 inas an animal lover, i have some questions jws have never dared to breach (according to a search of jw publications).
if humans die because of inheriting adam and eve's sin, why do animals die?
were animals created imperfect?.

There are a lot of animals that age very very slowly,(these are maily fish, invertabrates and turtles) and are not known to die of old age but rather having an accident and then becoming vunerable to hunting. These often are the animals that grow the largest as they continue to grow until they die. Many sea creatures are very diffucult to age as they don't show signs of ageing ,you have to judge by their size.
Many of these could live for hundreds of years if not hunted.
Scientists are still sresearching the mechanisums that alow this to happen. -

"The June 15, 1909 Z.W.T. is intriguing. Is there anyone out there who can help resolve it? There is given a report on "Brother Russell's European Tour" "Toward Newcastle." It states: "This is our first visit to this city. We greatly enjoyed it, meeting some new faces and some whom we had met elsewhere previously. Brother and Sister Rutherford entertained us--meeting us (with others) at the station and escorting us to their home, where after refreshments we had a heart-to-heart talk with the roomful (about 20)." Since Rutherford and wife were from Missouri I wonder why and how he ended up having a home in Wales. I also have considered the possibility that this is a different Rutherford from J.F. but there is no clue that it is." Newcastle is in England not Wales , although they do speak funny there. I'm sure the history of Rutherford would make a good documentury programme if only people could uncover enougth information.

Dont walk on the grass.New system rules.
by sleepy inwhat rules do you think we would have had in a watchtower run new system?
when my local assembly hall was built it had grounds around it , which had a very large amount of money spent on them.brothers would come every week to look after them.you would think then that you could have a taste of the new system in these surroundings.the assembly hall with its large gardens could be a glimpse into the new system.the brothers and sisters just like the cover of the paradise tract sitting on the grass.but you havent bargined of the insanity of watchtower rules.we were told dont walk on the grass.
now why in gods name build an enormass garden around the assembly hall only to be told you carn't use it?all you could do was stand on the concrete pathway and look.

So then am I to conclude that in the new system the society was planning not to let us walk on the grass? Were we to stick to path ways between the gigantic planned suburban houses Built to watchtower design. Was the paradise just to look at while we went to Continus assemblies and meetings conducted bible studies with the ressurected and hope we would make it through the final test?Maybe this was to be the final test.Touch the grass and you've got a bolt of lightening on your head. What other rules would we have had in the new system do you think?
