Not meaning to sound sexist : In general are women more emotional/feel good about religion, and men more proof/doctrinal in their acceptance ?
by smiddy ini`m just speaking from my own experience here ,and it has occured to me that over the 33 years i was a witness and in the six congrgations i was a part of , except for a few exceptions, the majority of sisters in the congregations did not have a grasp of the so called deeper things of god, according to wt theology, sure they could run off " bible topics for discussion" sermons but very few could take a discussion any further than that.whereas i was aware that males seemed more likely to delve deeper into, not only the scriptures, but also the wt interpretations as a whole.
don`t get me wrong a few women left me for dead in their comprehension of topics ,but i`m just saying overall i found this to be the case ... my experience... smiddy.

the fact is, level of emotionvaries from indivdual to idividual, regardless of gender. neither is bad however.
the broad and ill informed generalizations that the WTBTS likes to make about women are absurd and harmful to all of humanity. this op wreaks of lingering WT stank all over it as do some of the following comments.
let go of the stereotypes my good people. learn to open up and give them a chance as individuals, not preconceived notions.

A keyboard confessional...
by nibbled inyou guys don't know me, i'm new here.
i'm typing on an iphone (pardon any random weird iphone auto-spell corrections) and could walk home to get to my laptop but i might lose the courage to post what comes to my heart to share right now.
worse and more likely, i'll simply not be able to express what i felt right now... if i wait until i have a proper keyboard.

Nibbled, Was this a Flight of the Concords reference? If so, Awesome.
"It's my business brain that's in gear (hehe, I thought of "business socks", but it's not Wednesday, and I'm single...) above and beyond that of my personal interests which honestly aren't as clear as my human interests. "
Also,
"I'm interested in reading more of your posts and if you wouldn't mind- I'd like to check out the new forum you mentioned."
Yeah, I'd like to see that forum too! PM me too please!

To circumcise or not to circumcise?
by srd inhere's a good one for you, looking at gen 17 and paul's subversive interpretive practices.

female circumcision is really not the same, if you look it up its waaay more severe and devestating.
