  Fraud?

  it seems that many who post on this board hold that the jw organization is a fraud, schemed mainly bu the g.b.

  members.

  but so far i have never read something as to the reasons behind the fraud.

  I have often wondered exactly where all the money goes too. I haven't had a satisfactory answer yet but do consider that they can travel anywhere in the world at anytime and they have 100% healthcare coverage.

  The Western Education Center (whatever it's called) located in Hawaii of all places makes me wonder sometimes though.

  Rutherford built Beth Sarim for the Prince's return, however he lived there for much of his later life. I'm sure that there are places like that located all over the globe now. I just read a post here today about brothers that were removed from positions of power inside the branchs that were set out to pasture in apartments furnished by the Society.

  Finally, it's my understanding that the longer you've been at Bethel, the bigger your room gets. If these brothers are on the GB and have been there for 70 years, how big exactly are their ROOMS?

  Df'ing threat losing power?

  recently,i noticed that some teenagers and "weak" publishers.

  weren't actually shunning my step-daughter.

  i warned her to meet.

  I too was unreproved in record time (2 months). Of course, I raised hell with the CO about it.

  hello all, registered just to post this and see what you all had to say about this.

  i, for one, am in shock.

  it was anounced today on "extra" and they said we would soon see a change in his music because he was "marrying his music to his religion.

  here`s a true story that will gladden the heart of anyone who`s been cut dead because of the wtbts unsriptural and barbaric shunning policy.. some time ago i was contacted by my old friend fred.

  he lives in portsmouth, my old stomping ground and the scene of my dfing.

  (i was dfd for not accepting dfing.).

  Thirdson,

  I've always believed that they were. I just saw one of them at the memorial recently and she was reinstated. I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop but she said hello and no elders have jumped me.

  So, I guess she was grateful and as such didn't turn me in? I'm inactive BTW.

  Disfellowshipping Ain't My Problem!

  if you're a disfellowshipped jw, and you find yourself in conversation with a jw who is unaware of your status, should you tell him/her that you are df'd?.

  to admit to being df'd simply enables the other person in continuing along with their mistaken and unscriptural beliefs, rather like you going out and buying a bottle of whisky for an alcoholic.. df'ing is their problem - don't make it yours!.

  Why is it that DF'd people feel the need to tell you??? I've never understood that. They are so scared and nervous that you are talking to them and they seem to always hang their heads down and whisper "you know I'm disfellowshipped". I always say "yes" and then continue right on talking to them.

  They're freaking humans!!

  i'm an observant person.

  i became that way back in what i call the 'wallflower years' of my life, when i could very easily blend into the woodwork of any room i walked into without anyone looking up.

  i became a student of human nature and watched how people interacted, and that study has come in handy at many points.. sometimes, though, i don't realize when i'm opening a can of worms.

  just read 1984. i'm sure it's bean beaten to death, but besides being an excellent book, the similarities between the "party" and the witnesses is alarming.

  anyways, if you haven't read it you should.

  not because of the similarites but because it really is a fantastic book.
