  this is my first post on this board even though i have been lurking for a looong time.... .

  i have just being told that the judicial committee has decided to disfellowship me and that i have a week to appeal if i decide to do so.

  the reason: "apostasy".

  Am I damaging the silentlambs cause?

  one of the few unfounded (i think) accusations that have been thrown at me by certain people is that i have caused 'untold damage' to the silentambs cause.. i don't know quite what this is supposed to mean or what i'm suppoed to have done or whether it is anything more than just 'mud' flung by people who find it easier to criticise rather than actually do anything.. over the last year (is it?

  ) i've been happy to promote the silentlambs cause and have hosted links to bills site and vidoes / sound files of tv programmes, radio reports, photo's of the march etc... as well as providing a place for people to meet and arrange things.

  i hope it has been useful and helpful to at least some people.. if i have inadventantly held things up in some way then i unreservedly and wholeheartedly apologise.. all i can say is, i do my best and may not always get things right.

  I was just today discussing with a fellow poster what amazing, exciting, educating things have come about because of this site. Much of that success is because the right person was on the scene to get it going. Not many others would be able to endure what you have. Your work will be something future generations will talk about. THANK-YOU.

  people were coming in and visiting, looking for seats and laying down publications to mark where they would sit.

  Good posts by all.........I choose to see the efforts of groups like Silent Lambs as part of the process of alerting government/legislative officials about the "widespread" problem of child abuse. And isn't that exactly what we are seeing. Within the cloistered arrangement of J.W.'s, more and more victims are now feeling safe about coming forward, thanks to the J.W. oriented work of Silent Lambs. As these numbers continue to grow, be assured that voter-conscience law makers will take note.

  Hi Friends,

  We were repeatedly told that our concerns about local molestation were just a "personality difference" with the perpetrator and his family. Looks like from the great pics that a number of little lambs have "personality differences" with perpetrators.

  What an unbelievable, yet inevitable event!!! Congratulations to everyone. We absolutely laughed and cried over those pictures, and ROARED too!!

  'Prepare for Banning' A HOAX! READ INSIDE

  my friend called me last night and said that his mother heard a letter read on monday night at her congregation meeting that said that the rank and file should be prepared to be banned, to go underground, and persecution is coming soon, that halls would be taken, and such.

  that these things are definitely coming soon.

  could this be the spin that the wt is heading towards.....instead of facing the hard issues, make the issues the boogeyman and shut down the halls, giving the elders ultimate power?

  i have seen all the 1914/607bce evidence; the blood transfusion quandry evidence; the current child abuse problem evidence and several other things that are damning to the wt doctrines.

  Yes, some of us are, at times "bitter and vindicative", but that's what can happen when going through the process of realizing how deceived we have been. You will learn a great deal on this site and it will bring comfort. Get Ray Franz's books and educate yourself, just as one would who has found that they have been living with a terrible disease.

The Bible puts a real premium on getting the facts straight before replying to a matter, right?. Please go back and re-read my post. NOWHERE is there the encouragement to engage in or "excuse" sin. Buffy said that the sex was enjoyable, the Bible says sin can be enjoyable, though temporary. I'll leave it to God to sort out the sinners.
