  Thanks for the post..... I was wondering how many of you out there have had the privildge of getting together with a couple of these 'loving' elders for a session of spiritual re-adjustment. What a bunch of hypocrites!!! Putting things in writing is one thing, experiencing one of their Gestapo inquisitions is certainly illuminating, among other things.

  No doubt WBTS would like that to be the theme on sites as these, but alas, that is not the case, as has well been demonstrated. At times I describe my experience with WBTS as an across the board 'neutering'; emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I am in the process of coming to terms with my co-operation with this 'proceedure'. This type of inner reflection probably seems foreign to the Borg. It's called ''PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY ''

  below is a link to a site by who i believe to be along time jw and an article he has written basically justifying the watchtowers stance on the pedophile issue.

  the gist of it i got was that since there is so much more of it in other religions, it isn't all that bad within the jws.

  Hilda, In all this rhetorical wrangling, a simple truth seems to get lost. Since we're all 'imperfect', it's not so much what we do, but more what we do about it. If we seek real peace and freedom, one must co-operate with the true, living dynamic of 'confessing and leaving' one's sin. This is true for any indiviual or organization, and it's certainly not limited to the WBTS understanding of how to do it. It's not enough to say 'yes, there are sins'. It's more like 'this is how I've sinned, this is who I hurt and how I hurt them, it was wrong, I will humbly recompense them and this is what I'm going to do daily, if need be, to keep it from happening again'. Sounds simple, but it's not easy. We all have the choice. We can throw up whatever pretense we want (well-worded policy changes), but if we can't or won't do what's neccessary to 'leave' the sin, then we are not only unsafe, but are probably in the process of selecting our next victim

  as ive made it known on this board, my current status with the watchtower bible and tract society is that of inactive.

  this is a loophole i have utilized, to keep an open channel of communication with family members in the organization.. i want to clarify with everyone: i do not hold any doctrinal ideas, theology, ideology, opinions expressed in any form by the wtbts.

  therefore, to simply put, i do not believe in the wtbts in any way, shape, or form.

  Thank-you Bill and all the others for your courageous hard work. Just when you think you've reached a state of insensitivity to all the grandiose lies spewed by the WTBS, here comes their take on how current, timely, and above all scripturally correct their child-molestation policy is/has been. What??? No background information? No giving due credit to all the brave ones that sent a loud cry heavenward. Please prophesy this Oh great WTBS; Who now is being dragged by hooked jaws to the real judicial committee? Amen, Come Lord Jesus.
