Those do sound like the words of someone who has drained one too many bottles of booze.
if you drink macallan whisky, at armageddon you will become righteous immediately, a son of god, brother of christ, an immortal king/priest, and to cap it all, help all the un-righteous minions on earth grow to perfection gradually over the next 12,000 months.
no such 'growing' needed for macallan drinkers!

how can i report a corruption in a kingdom hall?
can i escalate this to the jw headquarter?
any suggestions are appreciated..
It depends on what you mean by 'corruption.' If it's a crime, report it to the police. If it's an issue of people not following the organization's rules, call the Watchtower HQ. I'm sure things will be handled discreetly and in an ethical and even-handed manner.

I have to admit, I'm surprised that they require 'full vaccination.' I wonder how that is being received at many congregations.
mark jones explains the watchtower gospel much better than i can.. "the good news that christians in the first century preached was the birth, death and resurrection of jesus christ; that all those who believed in him were saved and reconciled to god through the death of his son.. unfortunately jehovah’s witnesses) have been led to believe it is something bizarrely different.
the good news according to the watchtower society is as follows:.
the the good news (according to jehovah’s witnesses).
proves conclusively
Look, I don't believe in god or that any miracles in any ancient books/texts happened. But I cringe anytime anyone claims to have "absolute proof" or "conclusive proof" for or against any of those claims. Those words are, at the very least, doing some very heavy lifting. Just give us the facts and let us figure things out.
this came to me today.
at first jesus's own brothers didn't believe in him....thought he was crazy...can you imagine him shunning them for apostasy?
i would think disbelieving in jesus would be far worse than disbelieving the gb.
LongHairGal: Someone please let me know when they start answering people’s prayers!
Well, they haven't knocked on my door for a few years now. Does that count?
for sure you will never hear the national anthem of heaven below.
do you know others?.

Because the WTS tries to find ways to separate it from other Christian denominations, I bet they would find something objectionable with any hymn that was not from their own songbook. It's been a very long time, but I would guess that the JW hymns are focused on obedience to the GB and glorifying Jehovah, with the occasional morsel thrown to Jesus. Not quite the sort of thing that you would expect to hear outside of a Kingdom Hall.
hi friend`s ,i have my son and dil living with us ,which has been ok,overall ,quite a few years now ,however ,a few months ago they decided they wanted a dog ok ?
we had one a toy poodle for about 16-17 years and i just loved her as did my wife.. a few months ago my son wanted a dog and got a french bulldog as a pup ,which was ok by us .. however to cut a long story short, yesterday i was out in the back yard and the dog lunged at me and started attacking me in such a way as i can only describe as being frenetic in his attack ,in trying to ward off his attack and getting away from him i fell over and i believe if my son hadn`t finlly restrained him he would have mauled me .
i am 83 years old and my wife has just turned 80. and i dont want that to happen to her .. i don`t know the dog is what 4-5-6 months old i`m not sure , and been living with us all this time ,however i`m going to tell them to get that dog out of my house by the week and and a half or i will one way or another .. i am not going to tolerate that in my household and if he don`t like it he can go also .. i`m not being unreasonable am i ?
Dogs are awesome. Dogs that might unexpectedly attack and harm you are not. I don't think there is any question that you should be rid of the dog.
i haven’t seen anything in the news lately and wt position remains the same, so no change.
except, that when there is massive blood loss, my family mds have told me that without a bt there is practically zero chance of pulling through—short of an act of god.
jw know this and have decided beforehand.
A couple of months ago, my mother (in her mid-80s) had internal bleeding. The doctors at the hospital could not locate the source of the bleeding, and my mother made it clear that she would not accept transfusions. I found out that this was happening when I got a call from her the next morning, where she was basically saying her good-byes because the doctors feared that she would be dead before the day was out.
They managed to save her by giving her fluids and a medication that apparently can slow internal bleeding, which they use after certain surgeries (first I ever heard of this!). By the end of the day, the bleeding (which they never did locate the source of) stopped and she slowly began to recover her red blood cell count. She left the hospital a couple of days later.
So, it seems as if the no-blood transfusion edict remains as it is. JWs can get almost any part of blood if it is isolated, but not blood itself. Although, to be honest, I think that if they decided that transfusions were okay, she would probably not want to get one. Too much time believing in the old stance to accept any changes.

early on, after we left jw land, my wife said to me, “i hope you don’t care, but i don’t ever see myself doing any christmas stuff.
i don’t really understand why some ex jws decide to do that crap.” we agreed that parties were a little different because of the social aspects, but other wise i didn’t care.
now… there’s a 16’ douglas fir with ornaments and lights in our living room.
I'm curious as well. The experience in the first post implies that the couple was worried about being socially isolated (self pity?) and that they took steps to alleviate those concerns. If seeking out people and building friendships that lead to more meaningful holiday celebrations is a trap, well... it's not a bad one to fall into, IMO.
