My daughter had a pedophile living down the street from her . He lived with his elderly parents. I think he ws in his 40's. Anyway, he got busted for child porn on his computer and was finally arrested..he was arrested but his parents mortgaged their house to pay for his bail and lawyers. He only had to serve a short time and he was out again. When I was at my daughters she would always point out his van as it went up and down the street.

All the neighbors were alerted and took turns being on the watch. He apparently had a ankle bracelet on later for villating his parole somehow..

The neighbors called a meeting of all the neighbors with that family. They tried to encourage them to move but they refused saying they couldn't as they were too much in debt for defending their son.

I think someone put signs in their yard with "Child molestor lives here " in the yard.

Eventually one day an ambulance went down the street and the whole neighborhood came out to talk and see what was going on..

They went to the child molestors house.

It seemed he had killed himself.

It's sad to know that someones death can make so many happy/relieved. But what other way is there? Rehab doesn't seem to work.

Facebook: Local Ruling By Elders in Nearby Congregation

just heard from a friend that a nearby body of elders in their congregation have decided that anybody who is on facebook will not be able to have privleges in their congregation.. hilarious!.

One just moved back with her JW mom to help her out..she herself is not a JW..but she is getting it hot and heavy from her mom..the girl is in her 40's and her JW Mom is telling her how to dress...

Her Mom also made her cocoa with milk after the daughter told her she was lactose intolerant..she got sick as a dog she said. Her JW mom said she just wanted to see for sure.. This is my looney JW gal friend (the Mom) that I left the religion because they disfellowshipped her back in the 70's. Seems she finally got reinstated..She has one daughter that is disfellowshipped that she refused to have anything to do with.The daughter just became my friend and I am slowly talking to her about the religion. She has two more that never got baptised and are not JW's so she still talks to them.

Another one is in Australia and we just became friends and keep our talk non religious. She did however comment on a link to the Out of the Cocoon link. She put a frowny face...not quite sure why yet.

Another is a gal I knew from a KH I attended for a while and her daughter was a close friend of my sister in laws..(all JW's)

There are two more that I am not friends with but see their posts. One was married to the brother of the gal in Australia, (He is no longer a JW and has been disowned by his JW family)

I guess no one told them facebook is a No No yet as they all have JW friends that post..

Ha, serves them right. They are so (wrongly)picky about who is allowed in the org by disfellowshipping those that disagree with them and here is someone they missed...

Too bad all criminals don't say they are JW's when caught..wouldn't that be a hoot?

WTBTS would have a fit..

Also, what happened to the "Turn your cheek" talks, What happened to the "Jehovah will take care of evildoers in his time", and "Wait on Jehovah to set things straight" talks..

Are they losing faith that Jehovah will take care of things in the future?

Are they suing just because he claimed to be a JW? Surely I must have that wrong...
