Like they haven't had enough. One of my girlfriends in Toowoomba Australia (JW, on on facebook ) posted pictures of her yard and the waters flooding around her house..

by flipper inour jw contact sent us the " witness only " wt's again and i just had to make a thread on this mind numbing article.
starting on pg.22 in the jan.15th it deals with " coping with discouragement ".
it seems lots of jw's are under intense stress these days ( can you blame them ?

WT some of the highlights of my being a witness were listening to the other wives of Elders, etc talk about their love lives..it was hilarious!
Chasing each other around the room..having sex on kitchen tables and my favorite, putting bows where the sun don't shine...
My next best was listening to a close sister friend talk about which brother she just slept with...

But you have to believe that nonsense to be refreshed. Once I no longer (or finally admitted) I was no longer a believer it was not refreshing, just a chore to get out of the way.

Another Armageddon Thread...This Time May be for REAL?!?
by Yan Bibiyan inwith the ensuing unrest in north africa and the middle east, i wonder if some "zealous" brothers and sisters are saying: "this is it!!!"..
didn't armageddon suppose to start in the mideast?
isn't the unrest moving closer and closer to israel?

This is a sore spot with me. I do NOT believe in any so called Armageddon coming. I do believe that mankind can ruin the eath eventually unless something is done soon.
Nuclear warfare to me would be a type of Armageddon, it does all the same things the witnesses say Jehovah will do.
Possibly the earth will start all over again after it is destroyed. (After the nuclear waste dies down) A very few (Probably around 144,000.) will survive.. The earth will once again be clean. The cycle will start all over again..
I also notice that many that were raised in the religion have a hard time letting go of that idea/picture. It is engraved in their minds that this will now happen to them as they are no longer a JW. They have a hard time believing otherwise as this is something their parents taught them and we all know parents are never wrong right?
I feel so sorry for those that believe this. What a way to go through life!
I think the "Paradise Book" should be banned from children..anyone with me?
