... so when he found out that pennsylvania hospital offered a third option - once only available to jehovah's witnesses - it was a relief.
Danny..we have a hospital also that has strictly NO BLOOD operations.It is also a teaching hospital. It is Forest Park Hospital in St Louis Missouri.
My JW hubby was going to have a thing (forget what they are called) in his chest for chemo put in there but he backed out.

ever since i have begun this jw fade i have this strong desire to reconnect with those i have shunned in my past.
thankfully my own brother and wife have accepted my heartfelt apologizes and are now a part of my life again.
on my husband 's side of the family he has a brother he has not seen in about 12 years.

i went with my daughter today to the hospital as she had to have some tests done.. .
on a shelf was a gideon bible.
it had some of their history in the front pages.
Thanks all for your replies. I, for some reason found it all fascinating.
I don't know why I always thought of them as a religion.
Still wondering about my daughter's reaction though. She protests too loudly.
