Chest pain

today, i didn't go in to work because i wasn't feeling well.

it wasn't from the cognac that i was drinking last night.

this has been going on for some time now.

Ms Mcduckett...I too have a cardiologist...I have MVP..and have had high blood pressure..but under control now.

I have had 2 of my cardiologists die on me!..One was my age and he had a heart attack..isn't that ironic?

The other one had cancer and worked till the day he died....

I really liked both of them..and I really don't like the one I saw last time..

I have moved recently so maybe I will find a new one in the neighborhood I like.

I really hate going to the Dr..... and the dentist...

Breast Surgery - Update

well i had my surgery on friday.

i don't know what i was so nervous about, it wasn't bad at all.

i'm a little sore but the pain meds help alot.

My daughter has been through this several times..all turned out good ...we too breathed a BIG sigh of relief.

Why did God create mosquitoes?

i tried to finish mowing the lawn this morning and just couldn't.. there were about 775 mosquitoes around me .

Ballistic....We have them now in the midwest. I just heard on the news that they found the West Nile virus in the mosquitoes in our area.Once they find them they no longer test that area..

Just a matter of time before the numbers start coming in for human's having it.

They hardly ever bite me. I guess my blood isn't rich enough. I usually have a Vitamin K defiencency.

Probably taste like watered down blood..

But they are a buzzing..have been for about a month.

I think the mosquitoes were invented to "Bug Us"!..

Hey, watch the language!

ive used many expletives in my life, especially when ive hit my finger with a hammer!

however, ive seen some words and expressions used recently on this board that should be edited-out in my humble opinion!

okay, if you absolutely need to use a curse word, just put the first letter then some ***.

I too was wondering why so many use curse words. I figure they don't have a big enough vocabulary to express themselves in any other way!

Think about it. Like when it's really hot outside? Why does fuc-ing hot make it any hotter? Hot is hot...really warm is hot. Warm is the word for a little hot. Besides..how can you fu-k the word hot?

Like when someone says a person is full of s-it?..Does that mean they are constipated?

If you say someone is a MF SOB...does that mean he screwed your momma or his momma, And has no daddy?

We all know everyone has a daddy...

So I figure they are just english dropouts..it is really demeaning to the person doing it.

Speaking of Martha..I just read she is selling one of her homes in Connecticut that she first started her business in. Her and her then hubby paid about $80,000. for it and are now selling it for something like 9 million...

Nice deal...I'm sure she made improvements but......

My daughter just loves Oprah though..can't figure out why..probably because she is in her 40's..(my daughter) and I think Oprah tries to attract that age group...she sure doesn't attract mine...

although, the complaints may be valid and sad.

many posters here have vented about their wicked parents.. i think its time we parents have a post dedicated to saying something horrid about our kids.

it maybe something you have wanted to say about them that was in the past or happening now.

A LOT of patience...

After I wrote my speil about my grandchildren and how rotten they are....the grandaughter graduated 8th grade tonight. She was beautiful. After it was all over she came up and gave me a big hug...I just loved her to death!...

Funny how you can want to kill them one minute and just hug them to pieces the next.

But those teen years will test your patience.

And I never would have dreamed my kids would have turned out as well as they did. I didn't think my son would ever become a man. Now he is a responsible adult and I am so proud of them all.

And I'm sure once these teen years pass for the grandkids..I will appreciate them even more...

Well..my "kids" are all over 40 now..

And I think they turned out pretty well. But let me tell you as teens it was horrible. Especially because we were witnesses.

They had a sheltered life and went wild when we dropped out of the religion...I'm sure they enjoyed every part of "Worldly things" they could..

I'm just now finding out things they did. They think it's funny now.. I just tap my foot when they tell me.

But on the other hand..shall we talk about grandchildren?...

Teenagers!..OMG..All I can say is everyone's comments apply to them..Rebellious..self-centered..only wants to have fun..refused to pick up after themselves..argues with their parents..loudly..no respect for the parents..and when the parents lay down the law..the kids cry and whine till they give in. My oldest daughter is now developing high blood pressure and they don't even take that into consideration..If I say anything to her she turns it around and defends them..like I am insulting her motherhood rather than wanting to try and help. So I just keep quiet now.
I told them I don't like the way they talk to "My baby"...

Except one..he is only 8 and I guess I like him so much because he really respects his Mom. (My other daughter's son)
She has been a struggling single parent since he was about 3 and doing a wonderful job.

My third child..my son ..is divorced and remarried. He has 2 children . He gets them every other weekend.
I just found out the 15 year old daughter is dating a 18 year old with her Mom's permission and he can't do anything about it.

It's driving him crazy...I told him to relax but he is really upset about it. He thinks he is way too old for her.

I'm glad I don't have any young-uns. It would drive me crazy worrying about what to let them do and what not to let them do..where to draw the line and when to give them a little rope..
