so i was (attempting) to work on my car the other day when a few 17,18 or 19 year old white kids walked past.
now we have come to call this group of kids 'the gangster boys', 'street rats' and of course, 'chav brigade'.
i don't know what it is like in other places in the world, but here in the uk, gangster boys are breeding at alarming rates.
That was funny..as soon as I clicked on page one that guy started talking..I thought"Where the ---- is that coming from ? "I thought someones phone was coming over my computer...
Then I got this idea to page down..sure enough it was a you tube shot.

soooo...i was in at the bank last week and had a great discussion with the teller there.
she has been in banking for over 20 years and despite using this bank for the past 3 years, this was the first time we had a chance to gab.
this was a bank in california by the way.
Well when I worked in the bank..it was filling out the checks or w/d..deposit slip for elderly people usually. Then we insisted they sign it.It is not legal unless they sign it themselves!
Some had physical problems where they could barely write their signature..but they had to scibble it anyway.and we always knew it was them and we would initial the document. or asked for I.D. if we weren't sure who they were.
I am sure it is different now. That was at least 15 years ago.
I did grow to hate the Susan B Anthoney coin dollar though..it was mistaken for a quarter many times.
And that was a funny point about the braille on ATM's..they are usually drive-ups and I did notice the ones here have it also..but how do they know what command the machine is requesting and how did they "Drive-up to the machine?
They would still have to be with someone that could read.. I though maybe it was for their password..but the other person could just as well see what they were entering by peeking..so no protection for the blind there..
As far as coin goes..I always save my coin in a big coffee can and use it for Christmas presents at the end of the year.I got over $100. last year and I didn't start until August.
I started early this year so I should make out pretty good by Christmas..
And I always use paper money to pay instead of coin..that way I have more coin to save...
Next year I am going to include my money I save with coupons also..

Edited to add..regarding the fast food restaurants order machines...I have seen many that have a picture of the hanmburger..fries..catsup..or whatever you order on the machine and they just look at the picture on the button and press it to order.. how funny is that.
They can barely speak english half the time so I think we should be able to see the screen to make sure they get it right..(Which 80 percent of the time they don't).
My first job was at a hamburger place..White Castle..we had to memorize our 12's time table.(they were 12 cents then).because we always had to add it up in our mind or on paper..then we had to look at a tax table and add it on. I bet this world would suddenly stop if everyone had to do it that way today.Yep!
getting older is ok and i am not doing a thing for my b'day had one party in my life and that was at 8. i was told isn't it sad to know you have lived longer than you have left.
i responded it is not quantity but quality.
i really don't feel old i am still young at heart and will be til i am in diapers.

my lovely girlfriend and i sat down over a homecooked meal, and discussed the pros and cons of attending the memorial.. i decided, with her support, that we would attend.. i spent years of my life pretending to be a witness to please my mother.
when i left the witnesses, my mother said some hurtful things.. and those things really hurt me... for a while.
but i established myself as my own person, developed my own relationships, and have gotten a good start on my own life.. i don't know that i want to hurt my mother back, but i do want to make it abundantly clear to her, my grandmother, and all the members of my former congregation, that richierich is alive and kicking.. and i think that walking into the kingdom hall, dressed respectfully in a suit, yet with full piercing jewelry intact, and with erika wearing something classy that steals the brother's eyes, and draws glares from the humble sisters, will be just the thing to send that message to my mother.. i don't plan on partaking or making a disturbance.
If you REALLY want to go as yourself..why wear a suit?
Why show them ANY respect..go all out.

I remember when I was a JW and a family that had quit coming for a few years came to an assembley..she was all decked out in a mini-skirt and heavy make up and he had grown a beard and had long hair. They had quit attending a few years earlier..They were easy targets!
We all whispered how they had become so worldly.
I remember many saying.."Look what happens when you leave Jehovah's organization..they look so worldly and unhappy. ..It wasn't a caring comment..more of a I told you so comment. Like see what happens when you don't have Jehovah's favor anymore?
They just made themselves the laughing stock of most of the JW's. An example of "See what awful things happen to you when you leave.Don't let this happen to you!"
The JW's gave them a greeting but then talked about them behind their back. Hypocrites!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So don't think everyone will be jealous...or say what you think...they will make fun of your tatoos and piercings and your girlfriends outfut. And use you as an example of "See what happens when you leave God's organization".

PS...I just wanted to add that earlier they had quit attending after they lost a child to the NO Blood Transfusion rule.I think they felt quilty about that and just quit coming.
since rheumatoid arthritis is an auto immune disease, why don't people with this problem get immuno suppressors, like people who have had transplants?

Why is it that Aleve works for one persons pain where Advil works for the other persons pain?
I had a headache for a week and finally I used Tylenol to take it away.I had a knee hurting and it took Advil to take it away.
My daughter got a virus where you ache all over and only Aleve would help her.
She has to take Advil for a headache.
I just talked to my brother and he too said that Tylenol is the only thing that takes his headache away.
Why wouldn't they all work the same way?Aren't they made up of the same ingredients?

is it wrong to give people hope when they've been diagnosed with an illness that can lead to much pain and death if not treated successfully?.

The problem with having Cancer (One of many) is that once you are diagnosed first you have to take it all in..and what it may mean for your future and your loved ones. There are so many things to think about and you are usually pushed to start treatment right away. You are in such a turmoil that you don't have time to experiment with anything "New".
When hubby was diagnosed with the most aggresive cancer there was..all we could think about was him dying and trying to cram a lifetime in our short time left together. Neither one of us could actually discuss the fact that he WAS dying.. The Drs didn't even push treatment except to make his life that was left more bearable. We had no time to experiment much or find out about any.
So the only ones I could think of that could use any experimental drugs or therapy would be those that don't have a very aggresive cancer to start with. Hubby didn't have enough time to experiment.You would need a lot of time to try all the so called quack cures out there.Plus each one needs time for trial and error...Plus..who you gonna sue if it doesn't work?Your friend that recommended it? The makers of the "Quack" cures won't actually say it WILL cure cancer.
So I would think it's an up in the air question. It can't cure but it might...it wouldn't hurt to try it but it may!
I for one am not going to recommend a quack cure to anyone. My hubby was promised by his Mom and sister that the Noni Juice they were craming down his throat 24 hours a day WOULD cure him..even showing all the testimonials they had . (His sister sold it).After a while he realized it wasn't working so he quit. He just gave up after that. So he had hope for a while..then a big let down.. I don't know which was worse..
