I did want to point out that she said when her hubby did it the water barely turned a different color..when she did it the water was almost brown..

ps..Course when my 18 year old grandson and I tried the magnetic pads on our feet mine also turned darker than his..go figure..maybe it depends on how much you sweat?

well i guess i don't keep up on the jw news like i should...... in talking with my friend that has been disfellowshipped about the religion and it's falsehoods (lies)..she stated that the jw's are saying that the witnesses claimed beforehand that we would have a black muslim as president (they claim obama is) and it would be a sign of the nearing of armageddon..so when obama got to be predisent they see this as a fulfillment of this prophecy of theirs..so they must be the right religion.... help!
how would you answer this?.

designs, I agree, just wanted to see if anyone else heard anything like that. I need to get her to elaborate on it. As a former witness I do think she is affected mentally by it all. She was one that really suffered by her JW Mom..

I just also wanted to add that since our last meet up she has taken all her literature and left it on the Kingdom Hall front porch..Her and her girlfriend waited until everyone came out to see what they did. She said the witnesses were going through the boxes like a bunch of vultures..
I told her she could have sold them on E Bay as she hasd a lot of the older publications..

i have a few witnesses on my facebook so i thought "why not"... i posted this article on america's most wanted that featured frederick mclean..the jw child molestor..been on the run since 2004.. http://www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=35566.
so i comment on how i though they caught this guy but i guess they didn't as it was updated in dec.. so the jw gal i know in australia ( i knew the family when they were in the states) replies to the post.
she comments with this..:.
RU Kidding:, isn't it the job of the other witnesses to set that fanatic straight? Or possibly the witness teachings are so vague at some times they got the wrong idea about coffee? They have been misleading in so many of their teachings over the years that you really can't find any two witnesses that think the same about any one teaching..really
In talking to the witnesses in Australia and talking to the ones here..totally different viewpoints. I have old friends in both places! It doesn't have anything to do with their personalities in my mind, it has to do with the inconsistencies in the teachings!
Certain statements the JW's make for example on the so called "New System"..they just guess as to what will happen, so many witnesses have made up their own interpretation of the scriptures..I have heard it done!
The fact that many go overboard in their beliefs show what kind of people the JW's attract.

Thank you Botzwana,I just did. I have looked at some sites but didn't immediately see any about it being a scam. I will definately look further. That is my first instinct also..(It's a scam)
I remember when the little magnets came out that you put in your socks and it was supposed to draw toxins out of your feet and also the little pads you put on your souls of your feet that looked like big bandaids..that was supposed to turn brown with your toxins..(I have to admit my grandson and I tried them to see if they did turn color )
They actually did a show on scams one time and showed the feet pads and explained how they worked to turn brown..my hubby and his mom swore by stuff like that....Most JW's I knew would always fall for those things..I wonder why?
Anyway, would like to hear any other comments from a user or just on the machine itself..and will look for some articles showing it is a scam..
