Of course, humility and repentance are only for the lower classes in the organization

here are some examples of the wts extinguishing one "light" for another:.
the great pyramid of giza is "gods stone witness" detailing his plan for humanity (studies in the scriptures, vol.
3, 1890, 313) and later a "monument of demonism" (wt, nov. 15, 1955, 697).. .
Of course, humility and repentance are only for the lower classes in the organization

i saw this on someone's facebook and thought it would be a really fitting response to certain people... "people like you are the reason people like me need medication".

funny how things work.
i had just posted a sarcastic question on pc's thread about last nights call with the six screens folks when the door bell rang.
it was a jw lady and she was by herself.
They tend to hide their past flub ups from their followers..doesn't make good recommendations for future prospects..
Snoozy..who knew more about the JW's after leaving the JW's than she did while she was one..
with my french press.. *warning* if fluff topics make you gag and expose your superority complex then this topic is not for you...move along.
a few months ago i got a little french press from a thrift shop but i never used it.
last weekend i went to visit a good friend for a few days and i got my chance to use my little french press because my dear friend doesn't have a coffee maker which is kinda strange cuz he loves coffee just as much as i. .
We'll be right over to have a cup with you!...

in a non-study article in the jw only watchtower is an article titled " should youths get baptized ?
" the wt society is losing young people in very large numbers - so how else to try stemming the exodus than putting pressure on jw parents to indoctrinate and instill mind control into their children ?
in one section here in this article it almost sounds like a version of " 20 questions " that the wt society asks parents to determine if their children are making " spiritual progress " as they phrase it.
Aw Flipper, I feel so sorry for people that still have kids in the religion. It seems like they are tightning the screw even more now..Hang in there..hopefully the kids will some day see the light..the REAL light..
Snoozy, who is reminded of slave labor also when reading the article..
it appears to me that even in the few months that i have been here there is less and less emphasis on jehovah's witnesses and anything remotely related to jws and more very poor posts about politics, foreign affairs and celebrities.
i can't omit the juvenile sex ones, which i find lacking in erotic nature.
it seems the 6th grade boys are meeting in the locker room.. the posts that involve jws have a very different tone from the drivel posted on others.
I like copy and paste but also comments along with it..I like to know where something comes from if someone quotes also..I don't take anyones word for it..
Mindless crap is fine..it goes with the relaxed feeling on the board..sometimes serious discussions even come from a "Mindless crap" comment..
Takes all kinds to make up a board..Religious, political, human dealings, and everyday dealings..pick what interests you.
I can remember years ago when a lot of the discussion boards were simply personal bashes..much, much better now!

i just learned about this yesterday..i was amazed!.
i have a grown daughter that is a expert at this... .
dry begging:to ask for in an indirect and roundabout way.
Well I just had dinner (Birthday) with my daughter and it was really nice. She brough my 12 year old grandson and his new "Girlfriend' of 11 .. They were so shy..it was adorable..but seriously 11?
Good talk, made the W/d for her $40. "Loan " and accidently gave her $20. too much ..I realized the mistake while she sat there wondering what was going on and I snatched it back, we both laughed..she knows the rules and we both feel very confortable with them. We talked about her 401 and how she may take it when she retires..It looks like she is pretty well set..SS will be a bonus to her. Glad she stayed in it. She almost dropped out and a few years ago I talked her into staying..glad she listened! (And so is she).
So I feel it is a start..considering last year at this time we weren't even talking. I feel a new love for her that is bordering more on respect and I think she picks up on that..trying to stay positive with her..
Had a good time...
Snoozy..no vent today..
americans drink beer as a recreational activity, which is no different than abusing prescription drugs.
the people who laugh and scoff at preaching against beer have never stood over the graves of a mother and child killed by a drunk driver.
i'll never forget that little casket being lowered alongside the mother's casket, because some drunk driver killed them.
It's funny but seeing teens growing up today and their having access to so many genuine looking fake Id's they may as well forget the drinking legal age limit..Parents are teaching and the schools are teaching to be careful and not drink and drive, designated drivers and all that..but what they are NOT teaching the kids is how dangerous a road they may be going down physically and psychologically..alcohol plays a big part in the high school/college kids lives today.
What happens in their future? Who knows. They are already developing a tolerance to it by the age of 19. They consider it a reward..I guess time will tell if it will be a passing phase or not.
I hope so..

it's 9:10 sunday morning.
i'm dressed already, and just finished rushing through my watchtower a few seconds ago.
now i need to wait for my ride to pick me up (i couldn't drive yet).
It usually hit on a night when I had to give a talk.. But I pushed through it and felt much better when it was over..
Now I don't have to worry about it..I must be in Paradise..

Sweet mocha..if you don't work he will have to pay you alimony till you get on your feet..tell him that if he threatens..
They aren't counseled to leave a wife if the wife leaves the religion are they? They never used to. Too many lawsuits if so..
Best of luck in your journey!
