  i really want to read the cofc book, what's the best way to get it?.

  also, what is the wts gaining by keeping the org.

  For starters, I don't know what time zone you're in, makes it difficult to consider the time of your post. Where I am it's 11:23 am, prime service time. When I said to use the time instead to go out in service I simply meant something more JWish more "upbuilding" if you will. If it is not "service time" you could always do something else, as I recall personal study can be done at any time.

  Now, to my real question that still remains unanwsered. If you are a JW and believe in their teachings why would you be on a site where there are known e-jw's when this is strictly not-allowed by JW's or the WTS?

  If you really believe what you just posted what are you even doing on this site? If you believe that the WTS is doing the "will of Jehovah" and you want to follow that, why would you be on a site with a bunch of apostates, DF'ds and DA's where you are exposed to all our "evils". You confuse me, just by being here you're breaking a bunch of JW rules. Why don't you use the time you spend at this site and go out in service instead. You would probably have more luck with the people at the door than you will with anyone here.

  Also, what is the WTS gaining by keeping the org. going? Is it a money thing? If so, who's getting the money? The GB????

  just a few quick questions.... how did you who got out of "the truth" deal with having a spouse who is still involved?

  what did you do about situations involving your children (such as holidays, birthdays, blood issue, religious upbringing, sports-ymca/karate)?.

  since i am the "wife" i feel like i am in a doubly awkward position due to the "submission" issue.

  You're in a very difficult situation. I would try as best as you can to ignore the whole "submission" issue. It's a ridiculous teaching/rule that you no longer have to follow, I wouldn't even give it credit by acknowledging that it exists.

  keep in mind that the blood cards are produced and circulated in all other countries worldwide.

  if they are not so in the us, please do not scream too loudly that major changes are occuring etc., because this has got to be some local us thing, if it is true what you say that they are not renewed in the us.

  blood cards for assembly entrance?

  in a recent post someone mentioned that at an assembly or convention in the u.k. they would not let him in until he showed either a blood card or convention badge.

  the person then named some elders he knew and was finally allowed in.

  is this typical at u.k. conventions?

  The only time I ever remember having to show my badge at a district convention is if I wanted to go in before the doors officialy opened (to volunteer for something) or to get lunch (when they still served it) or a new release.

  it's been a strong desire of mine for the 20 some odd years since i've beeb df'd.. what do you guys think?

  should i go this year and make everyone's jaw drop??

  I think a bunch of us should all go to the same memorial and partake, I would love to see the reaction of that one!!

  if a dud came to your door and said, we no longer shun ex members let's become friends again.

  if the wt said the preaching work has ended.. if wt encouraged the members to vote in all elections.

  if the blood ban was removed.

  Regardless of how much the WT slacked on it's rules I would never go back. Their very existence is based on every characteristic I despise, them coming to my door and saying such things would just be further proof of their ongoing hypocrisy.

  this is probably a really stupid question.

  when i was in the org.

  there was a huge rumor circulating that there is a sign that says "no jw's allowed" in the viewing room of the u.n.. there is probably no truth to this but every so often i hear it.

  There is probably no truth to this but every so often I hear it. Does anyone know anything about this or has anyone heard the same thing??
