  Where can I get a wt cd rom??

  i know that this has probably been asked a million time but does anyone know where i can get a wt cd-rom (if anywhere)??

  and does it have all the publications on it or just the wt and awake???.

  Thanks everyone. Your probably right Joyzabel. It's a very big long shot at best and your right my parents wouldn't even consider looking at quotes from books that were not wt official. I doubt they'll even consider anything I send with an open mind, they'll probably just say I have taken all the quotes out of context. I really feel that I need to try something though and this is the only thing I can think of because it won't lead to a heated verbal debate and they won't feel guilty reading it because I want to use all wt pub. and bible quotes. I didn't realize that the information on the cd was changed though. What does that mean?? That they don't include things that they have since changed the "interpertation" of (such as the last generation)?

  Thanks but I'm df'd and not to keen on re-establishing any sort of contact with the kh. Anywhere else I can get it? I want to try to write a letter to my parents with comparitive research from their own publications proving contradictions in their teachings. The only problem is I don't have any wt publications left except the bible. I pitched them all when I left. Any suggestions??

  Hi,

  I grew up in congs. in Oakville and Mississauga and knew some people from some downtown (went to pioneer school in a downtown cong.). I live in Ottawa now though and don't really know anyone else who has left from the area.

  This thread is soooooo funny, it's all true!! I haven't posted in a couple of years but will re-introduce myself later.

  You know you're a JW teenager if you have to find out where all your school friends live so that you can try to "avoid" their house if you ever work their street in service.

  When i was a pioneer i hated going out in service in the cold, the elders were always on my back about going out in servic more and supporting the cong. I used to tell them i went to groups in other congs and put 80-90 hours on my report when i probably got about 15.

  Best National Anthem

  okay, let's do a poll.. since it looks like many of us are watching the olympics, let's vote on which country has the best national anthem.. i love canada's.

  i find myself hoping a canadian will win, so i can sing along to their song.. when the russians win, i get a cold disquieting feeling, since they adopted the old soviet anthem again.

  Perhaps 99% of JW do not know about the scandals talked about on these boards but that does not mean that they do not exist. The reason they don't know about any of these things is because JW are so increadibly sheltered from the outside world. When I was a JW I didn't have a clue, and it was because it was so instilled in me that researching anything for myself was wrong and that I should get all my information from society publications. If the WTS society goes on it will not be because of "Jehovah's backing" it will be because the members are taught not to look into anything for themselves and learn about what's actually going on.
