  out of morbid curiosity...what is the jehovah's witnesses current view about the vaccine rollout?is the watchtower society advocating the position to take the covid vaccine?

  Overrated

  Some Worldly scientists made the vaccine, but it's all Gee-hober. Amazing how they frown on education but rely and benefit from it and delusionally kiss a made up god/ organization for it as if they produced it.

  i am a 75 year old, who was baptized in 1968. had the full-on jw experience.

  elder since 1974. reg pioneered 20 years.

  Who knows what I could of become since being not allowed to go to college because some old men in New York say so or what I do with my time. Now that I'm away from my parents/ borg, screw them. Time to live a filling life.

  i remember knowing some jws that expressed their own personal viewpoints regarding what a scripture meant that was at odds with society teachings.

  in the 60 and 70’s, that was pretty much tolerated until the great purge in 1979 and 1980. as a matter of fact, it wasn’t unusual for witnesses to get together and discuss personal questions and viewpoints they might have.

  it wasn’t unusual to send letters to the society asking what was considered the right or wrong view.

  I had questions that Watchtower didn't/ couldn't answer. Was told to wait on Gee-hober. Waited, and waited crickets! Then I found Google.

  Further thoughts on the new media Center project

  the organization figured out that a big building project gives the rank and file something to be engaged in and excited about.

  it distracts them from their hamster wheel life.

  and it buys them another 5 years until the next big thing.

  Overrated

  I think I turned into one all those years of sitting thru meetings and talks and started to think what the hell as everyone else was bobbing their heads in agreement without even thinking about what is said. I developed a good BS meter.

  The Bible speaks of the "Unforgivable Sin" ? What is it ?

  do any jehovah`s witnesses or ex jehovah`s witnesses even know what that sin is ?.

  why is such a statement in the bible if its not identified what that sin is ?.

  were the authors of the book just playing with peoples heads ?

  as a jw did you have a pioneer sister/elder's wife who was the biggest busybody, self righteous, arrogant pus in the circuit?

  who would look down on others and treat people like crap.. without giving to much away, i experienced one that knew everyone in circuit.

  and if she or her husband saw or heard something they didn't like it was " you know what the bible says" regardless if it was in there or not.

  Overrated

  I had one nosey elder's wife who I told her to just say the word that I no longer have to came to the meetings and I will go do something else with my time. I was a little late to meetings and this sister had to counsel me on it.

  Be Truthful and tell him you're sorry and you're duped. This is what my Psychiatrist tells me, I have been duped, heal, recover the best you can, and move on.
