  walked away from the trooth years ago(over 20) my older sister sends me an invite to the memorial via zoom.

  i have no interest in jwism at all.

  • Yup, just too busy that day(taking the wife out) to plug into any crazy zoom meeting. Why go to a virtual dinner party when you can't eat and drink?

  Questions I have about the "Ministry School".

  i remember that jehovah's witnesses used to have a 2-hour, 2-part mid-week meeting which included a 1-hour "ministry school" followed by a 1-hour "service meeting".

  please correct me if i am wrong in any respect but to the best of my memory the ministry school was composed of 4 parts, as follows:.

  part 1: an "instruction talk".

  I wish they would of shorten the damn thing when I was "forced " to go to those meetings growing up. Real straining on a thinking brain.

  I was bored with the original school. In fact all meetings can put a thinking person to sleep. Or wake up and yell bullshit!

  More an likely making "service hours" for that time of year. I think I'll just ignore it. Talking to them goes no where. They would have to see the bullshit on their own like I did.

  Overrated

  I can't believe in something that is an outright fraud. Watchtower has been making promises that they can not realistically cash, no one can! Some are waking up. Some are just nodding head in agreement without questions. "There is a sucker born every minute " and they are running out of sucker$.

  Memorial Prep question

  so are individual witnesses being told to prepare bread and have wine on hand for the zoom memorial?

  are they saying it’s “vital” or is it just a “suggestion?” .

  My brother tells me that they will zoom it and he will have to pass the wine and bread to himself!??! No group settings? Seems odd. Seems ridiculous!

  Wt Wizard- I wonder the same thing. Who do they have in their back pocket that keeps them from trouble. But I do know people are smart and figuring out that they are bullshit.
