  Being trapped in JW's you would have alot of mental health issues which Watchtower frowns on getting help by secular authorities or professionals. Growing up as Pimo I had to wear a mask that took my sanity. I was not my true self.This is what Watchtower takes from the individual Jw.

  What's actually recorded in publisher record cards?

  it seems to be unclear if things like public or private reproofs and details around those events being recorded and traveling with you.

  it seems like the details are largely part of whatever judicial paperwork there is and not necessarily attached to your publisher card permanently.

  i changed congregations a few years ago and it appears the letter the body wrote only covered the most recent issue and said nothing of a reproof that had happened a few years prior.

  Overrated

  They can keep their letter. I never told anyone where I moved or a forward address. I did I good fade. When they do come around, I'm not answering the door.

  Besides, they don't know my name even after a name change. They can pound sand.

  catholic church killed off alot of christian books from the "offical" bible collection.

  so why let thru the weird book of revelation?

  have you read the watchtowers explanation it's a joke rutherford's conventions play a huge part..

  Circuit Overseer's visit and Body of Elders

  who is more powerful out of the co and the body of elders?

  i remembered a time i was a reg.

  pioneer and my service overseer in my congo was asking one of the regular pioneers during the meeting with the co. how powerful is the co to the body of elders and how powerful is the body of elders to the co?

  i was on a jw page recently and some dubs were openly predicting the end of the world in a year.

  mike flynn (trump advisor) mentioned having one religion in america and the dubs went crazy.

  someone even mentioned 1975 on the thread.. it seems to have since been deleted; but there were about 50 comments before i couldn't find it again.

  in one of the videos there was a mention of how hard the great eight work.

  i noticed that they had to decide how to use donated money---not dedicated money.

  a subtle difference..

  Sad thing about JW funerals

  i live in a country that has had reasonably low levels of covid.

  bearing this in mind i’d like to discuss my thoughts on 2 jw funerals i attended during this time.. (funeral 1) even though there were no governmental restrictions at the time, the official stance of wt was the halls were shut down.

  despite this the local congregation decided to open the hall up for the service and a reception at a private premises.

  Oh yes, Five minutes about the loved one and the remaining 25 minutes is a Watchtower Sales Pitch. That gets the family talking.

  Overrated

  My Father's service at the Kingdumb Hall was a joke. Pre covid. The first five minutes where about my dad and the rest of the service was about if you want it see him again, you better become a JW. And if you use to be a JW, you'll better come back. That was the jist of it in 30 minutes. Don't get me started on the shunning.

  my wife works in real estate here in the midwest.

  people are moving in so much from kalifornia its crazy.

  she said her client told her that they had to drive to nevada to get a rider truck.
