  What Was The 1st Thing That Made You Question?

  as a youngster raised in the "truth", i had my questions.

  but anytime you ask a question that is unanswerable, you are told to just wait on jehovah.

  as time passes, i believe that we store up a number of unanswerable questions that forces one to eventually think about everything.

  when I was about 12 or 13 I made friends with an elder's daughter who acted very wildly and was sleeping around. I thought to myself how does an elder's daughter get away with it? The elder was wealthy, so then I realized that people with money could get away with anything inside the org.

  another nagging doubt I had surfaced when I was about 16, I was getting ready for the memorial and I asked why do we continue commemorating Jesus' death if he clearly stated "do this until I return." The society taught that Jesus returned in 1914. So why continue with the memorial? And couldn't everyone partake? I never received a straightforward answer. As I got older I only became more and more doubtful. Then I left.

  Hubby passed away this morning...

  i want to thank all those that helped and encouraged me in my hard times!..hubby passed away from his cancer this morning.

  i am so sad my heart is broken.

  we decided to go ahead and have a memorial for him this weekend at the kingdom hall he went to.

  i am so pissed off at the elders right now that its not even funny.

  my spiritual grandmother died recently.

  hugs to you Dolphin I know how upsetting that whole ordeal must be, and I cant help but feel upset myself as I read your post. That's just how the JWs are, they talk a lot of s**t about "love, we are loving" but it's all just talk, their actions obviously show different.

  Are all women psychos?

  im not sure if i was married to a psycho or not and am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with their ex.

  weve been divorced for 2-1/2 years and have had our ups and downs.

  because shes a diehard jw and doesnt have grounds to get re-married i get an ear full from her blah...blah.. anyway, one minute shes like "its terrible that i have to wait for you to get married before i can" and then this past weekend she calls me to talk.
