How many of the sixteen Bible books hidden in the paragraph below can YOU find?
I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu; kept people looking so hard for facts ... and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of books of the Bible in this paragraph.
mark, luke, kings, acts, revelation, james, ruth, numbers, job, amos, esther, judges, titus, lamentations, hebrews, peter

I agree with the above comments, the baby could have survived on its own at that point in time. Double murder.
If he is found guilty, that is.

One foot in and one foot out.
by tech 597 ini have to say that at one time i wouldn't even consider reading material at a discussion group like this one.
but in the last two years, discussion groups like this one have been indispensable to my dealing with a very personal crisis of faith, and i want to thank the brave and loving persons who sponsor sites like this, and the brave and loving persons who participate in them.
like many here, i was raised as one of jehovah's witnesses and never questioned the validity of the wbts view.

Hi Tech thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us.
See why the WTS hates the internet?
Keep looking, keep reading, keep asking, but most important, realize that there is life outside of the Watchtower!!

Burial or Cremation?
by Francois ini got the idea for this thread from one jessika posted and which contained a response from dede.. which form of final resting place do you prefer and why?
personally, i want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered at a particular place on the beach on deserted st. catherine's island, a barrier island on the georgia coast.
my children could get there by boat (the only way) and visit my spirit there - even though i know my spirit won't be there, i believe that somehow i will know they're there and what they're saying.. being buried in a box six feet under to lie in the same position througout all eternity doesn't appeal to me in the least.

buried, no wake and no open-casket funeral
I heard from a police detective I once dated that there are certain bones in your body, such as your skull and pelvis, that dont really burn very easily. He said that those bones were just thrown away in the trash at most cemetaries. Not sure if this is true, but I for one dont like cremation.

Can you eat blood now?
by Brummie ini have no trouble with transfusions to save peoples lives but recently we went to a wedding and one of my little lads had been up to the buffet and come back with a plate of food, on it was little circles of black pudding (blood sausage), he didnt know what it was (i have never brought it home so he hasnt seen it before) but just threw it on his plate anyway.
while he wasnt looking i took it off and threw it away!
couldnt bring myself to let him eat it and i still couldnt eat it because of the background in jws.
