  What are the benifits of DA? Should I DA?

  i'm wondering if i should just "come out of the closet" and tell my family i don't believe it anymore and da myself or don't make any noise and fade out?

  I think dedalus and sentinel make good points about the DA issue, I couldnt agree more. In my case I felt that I had to have closure and move on. I wouldn't have been able to do that had I not written that letter. I know I would have experienced more stress and more anxiety if I opted for the slow fade, that's basically what I went through for the couple of months that I was inactive. It felt very liberating to write the Letter. I basically told them what was on my mind, what I thought of their stupid rules and to shove it, politely. I had the last word, not them.

  Irreverent in the Hospital

  my husband went into the hospital tuesday night with heart arrythmia.

  he was given a shock treatment which lowered the heart rate considerably.

  he had catherization done today which showed no arterial blockage.

  My dear wife

  as many of you know, my wife had a stroke back in september.

  i was so happy that over 80 people sent us public and private e-mails.

  some sent flowers and one person sent a gift.

  Congregation members too old or too young for you?

  were there enough people in your age/group or did you have to hang around with much older or much younger than you?

  i had that problem in my congregation... a few were my age, but they were married, so we weren't often together.. did you feel isolated in your congregation because of age difference or because you were single?.

  I remember the congregation I attended was just full of kids, all about 10-15 years younger than me on average. that sucked.

  Before You Actually Stopped Meetings, How Many HATED Being There?

  when i listen to anything at the meetings, it is with a critical eye.

  i really can't stand going, especially today.

  did you feel that the meetings were grating and extremely irritating, just before you stopped going altogether?

  WHY DONT MORE BLACK @ OTHER NATIONALITYS POST ON THIS BOARD

  not being racist in any way but i dont see any photos of black or spanish gatherings posting on the board , what is the reason for this yes if i bring out controvesy then feel free ,sorry no ime not racist,as i am from mixed parentage ,or dont other nationalitys feel the need to heal themselves after the borg have they been so dissasimilated that they dont trust anyone else,come out from behind your masks and reveal the real you.

  Thank you Alan F for your comments. Larc, why couldnt you have done that? It would have a) backed up your statement and b) not left such a bitter taste in everyone's mouth. But no, you had to let someone else come in and do it for you? Why? Explaining yourself would have gotten on your "nerves?" Maybe your own IQ score is too low? Oh, and I give a damn who in your family is black, k? That's not the point and it doesnt qualify your stupid comments. I guess I'll have to put you on my "black list" as far as posters I'll now have to avoid.
