THE REQUESTIING THREAT
by somebody in*** w60 11/1 p. 669 what does halloween mean to you?
"what does halloween mean to you?.
on halloween night when confronted by a masked, costumed youth making the requesting threat, trick or treat, do you think it cute, just a harmless occasion for children to enjoy themselves?".

I raised two children OUTSIDE of the WT organization, and yes, they rang doorbells with the "requesting threat", "trick or treat"
They are now two productive adults. And by that I don't mean that they go door-to-door full time offering Watchower INC. publications. I was a bad Mom, yes indeed.

Wonderful news about Ali....and something to warm your heart
by coffee_black inas i have posted, my daughter ali has been in the cardiac intensive care unit since thursday.
her bp, heartrate and blood sugar went sky high, due to horrible coughing spells from a chest cold that left her gasping for air.. she has congestive heart failure, and has been treated for almost a year now.
she has improved over that year, but this was a real setback.. ali called me today with amazing news.

Shocked at what my 3 year old just asked me
by jwfacts inme - jehovah?
who is jehovah?.
me - oh.. zac - are you happy with me dad for remembering jehovah.

jwfacts,
Children are SO smart and thier small brains can take in more information that adult brains can ..and that's a FACT!
The first 10 years of their lives are the most important.
If you haven't read Wolves Among Sheep by James Kostelniuk yet, them please read it. I only suggest you read it ONLY for what CHILDREN take in from those they are around. The rest of the tragic story is just that.... Tragic! Then you and your wife may wish to have a talk with your mother-in-law about what she may talk about to your 3 year old. You may want to set boundries seeing as how your 3 yr. old spends time weekly with an adult JW. It's a tough situation and could get worse as the years pass by...and they pass by quickly! :-)
peace,
gwen

No Christian Congregation in Australia according to the Witchtower. HAHAHA
by hamsterbait inin the continuing court battle in australia, the legal counsel for the witchtower babble and trash religion shocked witless onlookers by saying the there is.
"no christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses in the state of victoria," or indeed the whole of australia.. hahahhahahahaha!.
at least they are not perjuring themselves as any fool can see that their congregations are not "christian".. check this on barb andersons thread!.

ok. This is from Babara Anderson's post in updating us:..
"Legal Counsel for Jehovah's Witnesses, Sister Rachel van Witsen, an employee of Vincent Toole Solicitors, presented arguments on behalf of the following "accused":Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Australia
Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, Inc.
Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses
Faithful and Discreet Slave"So just one of the "accused" can be removed because it is non-existant ,"LEGALLY"?
Correct?

*** w04 5/15 p. 19 Caring for the Elderly—A Christian Responsibility ***
They Have Not Ignored Her Needs
When Ada, an 85-year-old Christian in Australia, became confined to her home because of poor health, congregation elders arranged to provide assistance. They organized a group of fellow believers who could help her. These brothers and sisters were glad to care for such jobs as cleaning, washing, cooking, and running errands.
That assistance was started nearly a decade ago. So far, more than 30 fellow Witnesses of Jehovah have helped to care for Ada. They continue to visit her, reading to her from Bible publications, keeping her informed as to the spiritual progress of those in the congregation, and regularly praying with her.I guess the CONGREGATION elders belong to a congregation that was NOT a Christian congregation.
Then again, the WTS INC. teach that only the anointed make up the christain congregation, so maybe there is no anointed/faithful and discreet slave in Australia?
Gotta love the word games the Watchtower Society Inc. loves to play. Slippery and slick, being the snake that it really is!
