Figures I just went back and your question was not "whom", but "where".
Anyway...It's at "the pub". And the guy on the left in one of the pictures that have people blocked out is "the great corn-hoolio", from side view. lol

Not looking at all the answers yet, ballistic, just to see if I'm right when I go back now and do.
I'd say that it's Little Toe on the left and yourself on the right.

can you say double speak this is one of the most hated questions that a jw can be asked for it puts them on the spot.
are jw the only ones that will be saved or as i like to say,.
can a person have an approved relationship with god without being involved with jw, and if so why should i become a jw-.
JT,
First of all, let me say that it's good to see you!
I see that the WT CONSTANTLY doublespeaks. Have you ever read a "Question From Readers" and by the time you're finished reading the Wt's answer to the question, you STILL don't know what the answer to the question is! If the reader is looking for a Yes or No answer, they never get one. They don't know if what they are asking is "wrong for a true Christian" is wrong or right STILL. I remember reading one where a female writer wanted to know if it would be scriptually wrong for her to leave her abusive husband. By the time I finished reading the answer, if I were a JW female in that situation, I still would not know if it was right or wrong, because the answer was BOTH. It was wrong, and it was right. Go figure! Maybe the WT's motive is to keep their followers in a constant state of confusion so that they CANNOT make any decisions either way for themselves, or their families. If they are confused, then they feel safer not making a decision at all, for fear it'll be the wrong one.
And as for the doublespeak the WT told the media on it's media site, that you quoted from, I SEE it CLEARLY. I have to get a kick out of what they said right after they judged others by stating that they believe that anyone who died before the JW sect was started will be brought back to life and given a chance to join the sect in order to be saved. And that anyone who will hurry up and join the JW sect before the end comes will be saved. In other words : "YES. We believe that ONLY JWs will be saved!" RIGHT after the WT explained this in their DOUBLE SPEAK, they had to play it safe and say this"
Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. We look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart. He sees accurately and judges mercifully.
If they only look for outward appearance and do not judge the hearts of others, then they would not have said what they did preceeding it.

hi,.
i'm hoping someone can help me.. i'm trying to find quotes from the watchtower publications talking about how the catholics are following men instead of jesus, and how they almost worship the pope, basically any quotes like that where the society condemns the catholics for the same thing the dubs do with the governing body.. thanks :-)
I noticed too that the WBTS uses the word "adjustments" more often than the word "changes" when speaking of their own changes that they've made in doctine. Maybe that is for the sake of keeping it's followers from becoming too disturbed. If they should, then they should ADJUST their thinking! Because somehow, when the WBTS make changes, it is to be viewed as "an evidence of its faithfulness to Jehovah and his Word." How disturbing is that!?
Here are a few more on the topic of CHANGES. These are from a 1981 Watchtower.
WHY ADJUSTMENTS IN UNDERSTANDING?
Some may ask: If Jehovahs Witnesses are getting food at the proper time, why have their views on certain teachings changed from time to time? The Bible answers: The path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established. (Prov. 4:18).
Because of human limitations, at times there may be an incomplete or incorrect understanding of some matter that may require correction later..
If an adjustment needs to be made, this class is humble and teachable enough to admit it and make such change as an evidence of its faithfulness to Jehovah and his Word.

The third link has free games to download. If that one isn't good enough, you can always to a search on free baseball game to download and play online.

HS,
Thank you. Very interesting!
I looked up the Awake article of Jan.22,1985 that was stated to "See",but I don't see any article with that title in it. Must have been an error on their part.
I have a question to ask you. ....Do elders keep copies(or originals) of S77 or S79 forms on file in the kingdom halls?

some years back, on h20, i would sometimes make posts that were generally ignored by the one person that i really wanted a response from:.
uncle bruce!.
then one day i received an email from the digger dahn under.
Englishman,
Welcome back!
I find the same thing. There are lots of posts that i don't respond to because I'd find that I have nothing to add except for "Amen!" and such. Most of them are yours.

God Appointed Channel
Bear in Mind that our heavenly Father has an appointed channel of communication. the faithful and discreet slave. That slave has the responsibility to determine what information is made available to the household of faith, as well as the proper time for it to be dispensed. This spiritual food is available ONLY through theocratic organization. We shouldalways look to Gods channel for reliable information, not a network of Internet users.- Matt. 24:45
Matthew 24:45-47
45 Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. 47 Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings.
Matthew 24:36-42
36 Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned; 41 two women will be grinding at the hand mill: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned. 42 Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming.
Does anyone else find it odd that the WBTS teach that Jesus DID RETURN and appoint them masters, but yet none of what is stated about His return in preceeding verses happened? His return ( the presence of the Son of man) was NOTHING LIKE, let alone JUST AS, the days of Noah.. Somehow, His return was invisible.
any thoughts?

"Some have posted the contents of our publications with all the sriptures and references given in full..."
This is real funny considering that I called the WBTS and gave my full name and address to THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE on the phone, with a request that JWs DO NOT come to my door or LEAVE ANY PUBLICATIONS in my door. Less that 2 months later, guess who were at my door with publications? they distribute publications TO THE PUBLIC and leave the full publications with all the scriptures and references in public places such as laundramats too.
They seem to want their "rights" to go door-to-door with their published bull-shit, but leave us NO RIGHTS when we don't want our families poisoned by any of their publications.
The WBTS are just pouting because finally, they have NO CONTROL over people, and that takes the power that they've given themselves completely away from them.
To the WBTS, I sing.....
Neener Neeeeeeeeener Neeeeeeeeeeeeener

jehovah's witness teen happy to be 17 years old .
treatments working for leukemia sufferer .
shunned father's daughter is undergoing alternative chemotherapy treatment at an undisclosed location in north america.
This story brings up SO many emotions. The courts gave the girl her right not to accept any blood transfusions. I don't blame the father for fighting for his daughters life one bit, but when I try hard to imagine myself as one of her parents, I'd let her be now and would have waited till later to get a divorce. This youg girls last days are hard enough as it is. I guess if I were the dad, I'd be happy to just get to talk to her on the phone, like he did a few weeks ago.
I can see the whole family is torn apart now. It's too sad for the girl.
That's all I can say right now.
My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
