i had a new high-pressure sales job that took all my time.
(we just moved interstate and i took the first job that came along) .

You have a very special place in my heart. And if ever the two words "honest" and "salesman" would ever be put together, you'd be why the two words were put together in my opinion, and through my personal experience with salesmen/saleswomen.
A job in sales is a very hard job for honest people to be in.

i meet this girl from india... she is dressed in a traditional looking outfit.
she is very attractive, aside from one problem: she has a disorder that causes her to grow hair all over her body and face.

you know, the "have you rejected the sinful course etc etc" that we had to stand and answer before getting baptized?.
Not sure, but this might be what you are looking for, version 2.1 5/15/1970 Watchtower 20 Two questions which do search out the heart and mind of each candidate are: (1) Have you recognized yourself as a sinner and needing salvation from Jehovah God? And have you acknowledged that this salvation proceeds from him and through his ransomer, Christ Jesus? (2) On the basis of this faith in God and in his provision for redemption have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to Jehovah God, to do his will henceforth as that will is revealed to you through Christ Jesus and through God?s Word as his holy spirit makes it plain? Those who answer ?yes? audibly to these two questions so that the other persons present may witness their affirmation of dedication may appropriately be baptized. 6/1/85 Watchtower At the close of the convention baptism talk, the baptism candidates will be in position to answer with depth of understanding and heartfelt appreciation two simple questions that serve to confirm that they recognize the implications of following Christ?s example. The first question is: (1) On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will? Thank you for sharing your story with all of us. It IS VERYinspirational. For whoever it was who told you that you are a strong person was right!
On another note, I agree with whoever it was who said that there are just some non-JWs who don't care to understand because they just don't care to. Not that that's a bad thing, but for some, it is. It depends on what your relationship with that person is. Sometimes WANTING to understand is necessary, depending on what the relationship is. That's my view anyway. Because some habits and ways of thinking from being in such a high control group such as the JW sect are just a constant inner battle to leave a person. DOH!!! Am I making any sence?
Anyhoo....I'm gald you're here and it's nice to meet you again. The last time I saw you, it was the year 1979!

i was watching some old videos tonight and stumbled across some british greats, like dick emery (ooooh you are awful....but i like you...) fawlty towers, les dawson, kenny everett etc.
i got a glimpse of larry grayson, camp as ever on the generation game.
all of these artists were funny to me, and have me in stitches just watching them again even though (john cleese excluded) they have now departed from this mortal coil, much like the carry on crowd, i seem to enjoy past humour much more than the present stuff on offer.

I also watched a show called How to Irritate People once. Don't rmember the guys name, but I know he was British. That show made me REALLY laugh too.

i'm in a bit of a state at the moment, my wife has just left me about 30 mins ago and took the kids...i don't know where.... ok, some of you long-timers may remember the problems i had with my son ben, who decided that the jw religion wasn't for him about a year ago.
i supported him as best i could through that and he's developed into a fine young man with a more healthy spiritual attitude, investigationg a number of christian churches in the area and finally settled on church of england, which he really likes now.. although no longer a christian myself i have no objection to them pursuing whatever religious path they choose (obviously within reason).
that has been the case with all of my children: ben, 15, charlotte, 14 and chloe, 12. i have never attempted to stop my wife taking them to the meetings although i have voiced to them privately my concerns about the religion.

I'm sorry that you have to go through this, and have to watch your children go through this, but my advice goes with others. Do not leave or move out yet. Find a lawyer forst thing you can tomorrow morning. Most give free consultations and explain the reason why you wife wants you to leave. And ask your lawyer what your legal rights are as far as staying there after your wife requested that you leave. I don't think you HAVE to leave just because she asked you to. Ask your lawyer if he is familiar with separations with JWs too. If he or she isn't, they may be able to refer you to one who does. AND PLEASE print out the WBTS's publication on preparing for Child custody cases and give it to your lawyer too. It is very important, because the WBTS basically tell the child NOT to let on that they are discouraged from associating with peers at school, sports, and also give the impression that they aren't encouraged to pioneer for the WBTS Inc.when they graduate from high school.. I believe it is on Kent's site and/ or board or Randy's site. There is a lot of information every lawyer who is handling child custody cases involving JWs, even if it's tempory custody should be made aware of. If you can't find it, PM or e-mail me and I'll e-mail it to you.
Once you leave/move out, I think that can change things legally....so please tell your wife you are staying till you find someplace to go, and see a lawyer ASAP.

I am not critisizing you, I'm simply contributing my opinion on just this part of what you said:
I don't want to speak for the rest of the guys here but I will admit that us men are more physical when it comes to relationships. In other words we put the physical attachment first. After which when a relationship falls apart we feel frustrated. Where as you women look to the emotional attachment more. Have I got this right? I am open for criticism.
I found throughout my life that once a relationship turns physical between a man and a woman, it is more often the men who get emotionally attached. If there is one thing I learned about men in life, it is that they ARE VERY emotional, period.
