  i read the koran, you know some of it, alright damn i skip though some pages, anyway i was wondering, is the koran completely different from the holy bible?

  i have been meeting-free for a year now, (although i did attend the last memorial mainly out of curiosity).

  i have learned enough now, since leaving "the truth" to know that i'm never going back.

  but i was wondering how long it takes to get all of the shit out of your head?

  That shit lurked in the back of my mind for 15 years, until about 9 months ago when i read Ray Franz book: Crisis of Conscience ; and that was aftwe i lurked here for about 2 months.
  Point being, if you haven't read Ray's book yet, you might want to give it a whirl.

  nobody here wants to lived in the new earth aka the coming earthly paradise?

  nothing in the bible is symbolic, because saying things that are symbolic in the bible, is like calling jehovah a liar, god would not write something like in the bible, then out of no where, it really means something else... example: 144,000, some people said's that's symbolic, lol yea right.... .

  anyway it seems like no one here wants to lived in the new earth, my question is why?

  The #1 fact i've learned from reading Ray Franz books & this board is along the lines of : If Jesus told us to celebrate the memorial of his death until he returns, and the watchtower teaches that he IN FACT returned in 1914 ; then why do the JW's still bother celebrating/observing the memorial of his death?

  Tabacco companies

  don't know if this has been brought up before; but anyway.... since jw's cannot with a good conscience buy a relative a pack of cigarettes while they are at the store picking up a few other thing for themselves, or work at a convience store and sell people cigarettes; should they not buy, let's say kraft macaroni & cheese of velveeta based on the fact that a major tabacco company own kraft foods?.
