women make up the main population of the kingdom halls, and the pool of young males willing to step up to "serve" is drying up.

It’s already happening. Sisters doing microphone and sound.

The big change was in the OD book only baptised brother or sister can do these things. They thought this would get more to get baptised but it didn’t work.

the order is first baptised brothers but if there are not enough then baptised sisters. If there are not enough baptised sisters then unbaptised brothers can but it’s rare that there are not enough baptised sisters.

Most young ones brought up by parents in the congregation just don’t want to get baptised when they understand what there have to lose if they don’t follow the rules. Once hormones kick in they certainly don’t want to get baptised

I disagree about not wanting Armageddon to happen.

This world is so messed up now you can’t just stick your head in the sand. There is so much misery and suffering perhaps far more so than other times in history.

What this world needs is a huge reset, it may be hard but necessary. All the evil people gone and then a new type of ruler ship that has never been tried before theocratic rule.

Im agnostic so maybe the Bibles promises will come true maybe not but I hope the Bible is the word of God and it turns out to be true

even elders can be part of the new jw lite brigade these days.

they don’t need to go on door to door anymore and there is no requirement for anything really.. taking meeting parts is all dead easy you could turn up on the day with zero preparation because it’s all in the meeting workbook.. quarterly elders meetings are just old men having a good old natter just like old men do down the pub.. congregations could be likened to pubs or bars these days just without the drinks, those come at other times.. no need for territory maps, these almost went away with covid letter writing now they are extremely slow getting finished as those who still go door to door only do ten mins.. you could even voice your questions these days about things the gb say and then just say “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”.

i predict they will say this about 1914 soon..

Great teacher it’s a shame you say that but this is your choice, if there is a Creator and the Bible is his word then it says he has given us all a choice.

You do know it is a wager that you are taking by choosing not to take Pascal’s wager? You are taking a wager whatever choice you make even if apathetic.

I choose to take Pascal’s wager and live JWLITE life staying physically in but making damn sure there are zero disadvantages to my wager.

You have to ask yourself are there disadvantages to the wager you are choosing?

a year ago i edited a map of the world to include some big arrows to tell the story of what is to come.

and i shared that map with various friends.

It’s playing out exactly like the JWs say, they say king of the North Russia and it’s allies mainly China and Muslim nations are are the ones who turned on Gods people and the work is banned.

USA and UK are king of the South and they definitely sided with the Jews.

i intend to show with this article that the man of lawlessness is the anti-christ and that the activity of this composite person is what constitutes the abomination of desolation.

this shows the anti-christ and the man of lawlessness to be one and the same composite person.

we have seen that the anti-christ exalts himself {not appointed by god} then we learned that the man of lawlessness takes his seat in the temple of god.

Not sure where to post this, we went to a JW wedding and there were lots of disfellowshipped family members

the elders said as long as they respect the arrangement and don’t try to talk to people!

that is ridiculous as they don’t agree with the arrangement and of course they will talk to people

they try to normalise this absurd behaviour but who are the GB to say family members can’t talk to each other at weddings or funerals

the situation has gotten very serious I wish rank and file would start ignoring the GB on the real stupid direction

What does she mean now? She and her sister did accuse him of being involved in CSA is she now changing her story?

By the sound of it and this is just a guess, she and her sister and possibly others were abused by her father and possibly others in a pedo ring. She says the GB knew about it maybe they tried to cover it up as that have done in the past. But it doesn’t sound like she is actually accusing Tony of CSA involvement himself

But i would consider jwlite--if it meant by attending occasionally my son and daughter might speak to me. But realistically its far too late for that

It would be better for now if disfwllowshipped one’s being shunned by family got reinstated and joined the JWLITE brigade.

Then you could slowly show your family members that the GB are wrong and do it in a very subtle way

Even being apathetic is a wager and you may lose.

Being atheist is a bet that the universe origin was chance. This may be wrong and then you are missing out.

Believing intelligent design was involved is also a wager or a bet
