I really like the red pill analogy in the Matrix. The one guy wishes he didn’t take the red pill and would have preferred to take the blue pill.
many used to be PIMI which is the blue pill and then they wake up to the fact that the GB are not who they claim to be which is taking the red pill.
they go through conflict and confusion as to what to believe now? Does God exist? If so is the Bible his word? They look back on the years on being blue pilled and think they were happier. Ignorance is bliss.
But you can never go back, unless you could have your brain reset again.
Taking the red pill and still keeping the old blue pill is taking the purple pill. JWlite or PIMA.
Stay in or only just and don’t let on to anyone that you don’t believe the GB but you remain PIMA and keep an agnostic view that we just can’t prove if God exits
I like many others have been trying for years now to take the red pill but be agnostic (PIMA) so all the benefits of taking the blue pill? Maybe there is a God or maybe that is not the truth, we just don’t know.
but if there is, then keep one foot in the door.
I’m well past confused I’ve got to the acceptance stage.
I think the best option for me is stay physically in the congregation as it’s such a full life, so many good friends and gatherings. Just like a Trekkie who doesn’t like Star Trek anymore but likes the friends and convention's, so pretend to still like star treck.
I actually think there are many many JWs like me, if not the majority these days actually. It didn’t used to be this way, it used to be most fully convinced but not anymore.
I can tell talking to old friends that they don’t really believe in JW theology, well not convinced of it. But it would be nice if it’s true and there is a possibility of that of parts of it at least.
But for now, if I left I would be missing out on all the association that I’ve got used to a couple of time per week.
It’s actually much better being PIMA, no stress. I go to ministry groups but never go door to door anymore. Not many do come to think of it. We just go to the park or shopping then back for coffee break and catch up on all the goings on.
I sometimes look at those poor souls who are fully convinced of the GB teachings and totally PIMI, Ignorance is bliss for them. They so believe the new world is right around the corner that they can cope better with their problems now.
I used to have faith like that and I was happier taking the blue pill.
but I can never go back. I can just take the purple pill.
If only it was possible to have the kind of faith that those die hard have, so much that you really experience the bliss of ignorance. It’s just not possible once you have taken the red pill. The purple pill is the best possible option now

JWlite like being a Trekkie. You know it’s fictional
by ExBethelitenowPIMA ini now view jwlite like the trekkie conventions.
star trek is fiction and all the fans know this full well.
but they find it beneficial.

With one important difference - Trekkies don’t require one to throw their lives away in refusing a blood transfusion during a time of serious illness or injury.
That’s the point, most PIMA’s wouldn’t refuse blood if it really was going to save their lives.

So what are the productions for neck beard over the next couple of decades? Will he grow old in a country that he can’t speak the native language?
how would that work? I’m in the UK and if there is an old person who can’t speak English then they are a terrible burden on their kids. I think his daughters will want nothing to do with him anyway once they are old enough to Google him.
if he moves back to the UK then will he be able to integrate back in? He has been gone a long time and his problematic personality will wind every one up the wrong way. Well I suppose that’s true wherever he lives

Jehovah's Witness Governing Body, (New Light Division) Are Vegetable Oils not more important than Beards?

Yes let’s stick to what it says. You are trying to claim it doesn’t say what it actually does say.
why are you trying to cover for the GB? Do you think it’s good advice to replace butter with margarine?
do you think it’s correct all those things they say?

They clearly did encourage heating the oils to very high temps which is what is really harmful for seed oils. If you don’t heat them then some seed oils are not too harmful like good raw olive oil.
they clearly did insinuate that egg yolks are bad for you. If the gov bod even hint at something being bad for you then the fully indoctrinated will not touch it with a barge pole.
yes they clearly are copying what their overlords at the UN tell them to push. They say avoid fatty meat and egg yolks replace butter with margarine and vegetable oils.
i say do the exact opposite. Avoid all seed oils if possible especially those heated up. Never ever consume margarine that the GB push. Use real butter and if possible raw milk.
Make fatty meat and hole eggs a large percentage of your diet, you will then find you don’t need to eat that much at all because they are so nutritious.

In his latest video he makes a big deal of thanking others for him ripping off all their work.
what’s new, he has always ripped off other peoples work but now he is realising he has a reputation for that so now he is making a big deal thanking them

Is there really a Bible rule against sex without marriage?
by Halcon inregarding the poster from jw headquarters, who claimed that the gb would eventually loosen the rules regarding sex.
the question is, is there really a bible rule explicitly prohibiting sex without marriage?
because this would be the only possible reason why loosening those rules would even come up in a discussion.

I suspect the old way was just difficult to remain chaste until you marry. Especially these days. But in our opinion my wife and I think the old ways of high standards of morality is the best way.
From now on it’s going to be a case of young baptised JWs experimenting with sex and no more DFing as long as parents tell the elders to stay out of it as they have it in hand.
This will change the dynamics of all old JW ways like needing a chaperone and not being alone together.
JW youngsters will now be partying and having sex even after baptism. The elders will ask the parents if they could arrange a shepherd visit but as long parents say no thank you we have got it in hand then there will be no DFing happening.

What I Remember From The Past...
