  this thought often crosses my mind.... what happens when you reach the end of the universe?

  if you believe god created the universe, then surely there is something more than the universe.

  if anybody knows of any links to articles on the subject, please post.

  if you believe the universe to be round, that by simply walking one way you'd meet where you once started (quite like the earth), if you are able to walk upon the universe, then you are actually beyond the universe just like we actually occupy the universe even though we are upon earth. so what is the 'beyond'?

  Maybe God chose the Bible because us humans hadn't figured out the Internet thing yet. Surely it is easier to read than recite. So, really, God took it easy on us!

  Whether you believe the Bible to be the word of God is purely a matter of faith. The God of the Bible has always used faith to prove obedience. Like it or not...

  And faith simply gets you beyond the mere fact that a God exists (which is quite simple to grasp).

  And once you have faith, you've got prayer - a pure medium we can use to access God. Many, including myself, can confirm our prayers are answered and continue to be so...

  just my beliefs...

  Why Not Reject 1st Century Org. as God's ?

  for myself, it took awhile for me to accept the trinity doctrine, but i finally came to believe!.

  For myself, it took awhile for me to accept the Trinity doctrine, but I finally came to believe!

  My reasoning? We are made in the image of God -- we are a person (this would be God) whom speaks (this would be Christ) and takes action (this would be the Holy Spirit). In the end, though, we are but one person.

  i remember one sunday sitting in the kingdom hall and, out of the blue (after looking at one of those most dreadful pictures of armageddon), sincerely asked my mother, "where are we going to go?".

  my mother frankly stated, "we'll all just gather here at the kingdom hall and god's angels will protect us!"..

  i continued by asking, "what's going to happen to all the dead bad people?".

  I remember one Sunday sitting in the Kingdom Hall and, out of the blue (after looking at one of those most dreadful pictures of Armageddon), sincerely asked my mother, "Where are we going to go?"

  My mother frankly stated, "We'll all just gather here at the Kingdom Hall and God's angels will protect us!".

  I continued by asking, "What's going to happen to all the dead bad people?"

  My mother responded, "Ferocious birds are going to eat all the dead bad people!"

  Even worse, I decided to ask the ultimate question, "Who is going to clean up the mess?"

  My mother responded saying, "JWs, of course! We'll have one thousand years to clean up the mess!"

  After taking another look at the dreadful picture, I slouched even further back in my chair, thinking to myself, "Welcome to paradise!"
