Any takers?

i have been doing some research on freemasonry and the pyramids lately.

does anyone know if the purple triangles on the shirts of the jw holocaust victims had anything to do with the pyramids; and who decided to put that particular patch on that group of people?

i know that the "star of david" is another symbol used in freemasonry as well as the "watchtower" symbol.

I don't have an answer for you but I was also wondering recently about the watchtower symbol. I would love to prove that it's of pagan origin (assuming it is) but would like to know either way.

in the spirit of minimus i thought i'd put a positive spin on things.

they say when you surrond yourself with the positive its easier to be positive and vice versa for negativity (no offense to min as i also fully believe that you have to deal with negativity too).... that being said....whats the nicest thing, compliment, gift etc that anyone has ever said or done to/for you?.

i went on vacation but my mom to my knowledge did not pick up coc and read it.

Cyrus, I took your recommendation. I went to the library and made copies from 4 different Encyclopedias. I also checked out 10 books on Israel that had Jerusalem history in it.

My father has not had time to do his own research yet (work project to finish) but I left all the info I found on the table for him to look at.

I'll check out some of those links. Thanks again.

Anyway here is the update. I went on vacation but my mom to my knowledge did not pick up CoC and read it. It wasn't until I got back home did she a few days later admit to perusing through it.

yesterday I got in a 4 hour in-depth discussion with my parents. For 2 hours it was my mom and I was explaining the false 607 date. Then later my dad came out and he got involved in the conversation as well. He is the one who understands the timelines and realizes that the 607 date is absolutely "pivital" (to use his word) to the teaching. The conversation went well. So well in fact that both of my parents are going to do research on this doctrine issue.

To help back myself up. As I want other sources besides CoC I am hoping to locate some other books etc that cover those dates. If anyone has any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated. I have a feeling if proved to him this would be my fathers way out. After him my mother would follow like a good sheep and so would my sister.

please please please any references that are non "apostate" is what I am looking for.

oh and wish me luck although I have a feeling as soon as my father starts looking into this on his own it will be over.

Why the US is great despite Bush!

all the heated debates about iraq have caused many americans here to think that several of us anti bush guys hate america and hate americans.. this is not the case!

i want to state emphatically that the us is a great country with great people!

i have lived in ny for 3 years and had a fantastic time there.

LOL...that was really funnie too. But I really did bring candy as well. Salt Water Taffy that was set upon the coffe table for all to enjoy.

Ahh well thats what I get for bringing something with salt not spice.

I brought candy too......and what about the shells??? ...are they just chopped blood pudding!?

so this guy came to town last march from jolly olde england...we called him trucker, truck, amongst other unpleasantries.

he was a quiet one, mostly observing and sometimes addingto good conversation...drinking, eating, laughing, smiling and winking once in a while....well...near the end of the festivities there were a couple of items left on his agenda and the apostates had scattered back to the four corners... well, we made plans, and really, looking at him and me, one wouldn't think we had too much in common, or that there would be enough mutual interest to keep us talking.

i picked him up from the hotel in the morn and he was really jonesing for a tiffin, so catholic school girl and i took him to my place where he served us a right english tea, even if the tea was crappy...naturally i was not prepared, if it had only been beer he wanted...oops..anyway, i digress...his agenda included hitting downtown and the sights...we spent several hours doing that and talking the whole time...we actually had a lot in common and thought along the same lines on many things...after seeing the sights, we headed for a pub and a pint..i went to work a bit later and then found him waiting quietly and patiently for me afterwards....we went back to my house to see what you hooligans were typing, killed the wheat beer pr_capone had so lovingly provided, and he went home for his final respite in big d...deaming of apostate fun all round mateys....well its been a while since march, but it feels like only yesterday i was imbibing fine spiritual food and yummy steak with many of my fine colleagues...good times...good times...well lo an beyold mates...whot's in ye olde post frum royal mail taday?

on my visit to Spice up England..Trucker made a copy of the Wurzels for me as well....

getting back home I had the chance to listen to it....really fun songs that made me think of They Might Be Giants....

nothin I'd recommend for someone without a sense of humor

gods love and jealousy

1 John 4:8 & 16 states that "God is Love"

then in....

Exodus 20:5, Exodus 34:14, Deuteronomy 4:24, Deut. 5:9 , Deut. 6:15, Joshua 24:19 states that "God is a Jealous God"

then in......

1 Corinthians 13:4 sates that "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

Envy and Jealousy go hand in hand......
how is this understood that god can be such a contradiction in terms...????
