there is usually a metamorphosis that takes place for a person to leave the jehovah's witness religion.
most people do not just up and go simply because they realize this could not be the truth.
it often takes time.. for those that go to meetings or engage in the ministry, will you forever continue doing these things, knowing that it is all bs?
I'm in the process of fading but I go along for my families sake. I've been threatened to be kicked out of the house and can't survive on my own just yet. My parents also threaten to kick me out of the inheritance will and give it all too the organisation. So, I feel I should stay around for that as well, because I would hate to see it go to the org.
I also love my parents and don't want to see them hurt as well.
shame to see our multi bilion property and media corporation asks for the last coins of an indian child, the coconuts from a sri lanka man and the last olive oil of a greek poor.. message to the poor is: no money, then your other belongings are belonging to jehova (read:jw.org).. at the end of the article i can click on a donate button and get a visa / mastercard sign om my screen.. follow the money: were are the property bilions?.

I was shocked to see the donation picture at the end of the article...I was like why is that even there since everyone knows how to donate, theirs donation boxes at the back.
I was disgusted with this article to make people feel guilty into donating...I didn't like hearing that giving money to org is how you can gain friendship with god....Sounds like a one of those friends who will like you only if you give money to them.

Sounds like the scam a priest sells someone that if you give money to the church he will pray for you to have Gods favour.

when i hear prayers given by brothers why do they only pray for other jws not all people??
i remember hearing a comment from my mother saying 4000 jws are affected by this...and i'm thinking yes that is sad but what about the tens of thousands other people affected?
too me it just doesn't seem right to just pray for jws but to pray for all victims.
Thanks for all the comments...Yeah I know you can't force people to pray for who you want them to pray for but I just thought wouldnt true Christians would think about others who are affected not just JWs and pray for them as well. Not once have I heard a prayer for other people who are suffering only prayers at field service to find spiritual sheep.

1. it was a catholic monk of the 13th century that first coined the name jehovah in the english language.. 2.the roman catholic douay version of the bible does have the name jehovah in it.
