  "Congratulations" - WHY?

  why is it a social custom to say "congratulations" to a guy when his wife/gf has had/is having a baby?.

  what has he done to deserve the sentiments?

  all he's done is have an orgasm and spurt some semen into her?

  i do know alot of happy jws and, i could not see them being anything else but jws.... .

  Spin Doctor - a Bethel apologist?

  i have noticed that "spin doctor" is appropiately named because s/he speaks as an active jw.

  i have no doubt that s/he is most likely a bethel plant, or possibly an elder or ms trying to defend the org.. if you look in the two threads s/he has replied to so far, s/he speaks of the society as "we" and "our".. .

  Need Help FAST!

  my son (who's 15) came home from the meeting last night (he thinks he wants to be a witness, but that's in another thread) and said that his grandmother (my mother-in-law) told him my reason for not going to meetings (the un thing, also discussed in another thread).

  he told me that i need to talk to the po about it as he had heard about it a while back and has some information.. hmmmm, me thinks the mom-in-law has been talking to the po about what i told her last week.

  i'm sure that i will be getting a shepherding call (a drop-by, unscheduled visit) by him this weekend.
