Never knew dating couples couldn't sit together... I was once asked that question by one teacher, and I answered that couples can be together at meetings. That's how it is in the congregations I've attended in Canada. Apparently, some congregations are sick as hell, though...

Extreme rules on Dating – is this for all congregations?
by Bonnie_Clyde injust found out that in the congregation we used to attend there are two young brothers, both are sons of elders and recently engaged to girls in neighboring congregations.
instructions are that they may not sit together at assemblies or meetings.
but get this….they can’t even ride in the same car even if their parents are also in the car.

zeb, you have already told us of this quote. However, when asked to provide a source for this quote, such as where you found it, you have not answered. Would you be able to tell us now where exactly can this statement be found?
Thanks in advance.

Millions now living will never die (orginally "may" never die) was the WTS lying
by blondie inthis was first said in 1918 and adjusted to "will never die" in 1920. of course, the wts taught that the anointed had to die to go to heaven; but there was no great crowd teaching then, so they were talking about all non-anointed people on earth.
the wts members were known as bible students then and had been expecting the end in 1914 and it was adjusted.
one date that was stressed at that time was 1925. so i think they idea was that people living in 1918 would be alive to see the end in 1925, which of course did not happen.

Repeal the 19th Amendment? What for? What the hell? So that women couldn't vote again?
Who's that stupid?
Edit: After reading the news article, I realised we have women to thank that Donald Trump isn't going to win.

How are Rev. 18.4–8 and Matt. 8.11 seeds of doubt? I don't find anything so crucial about those verses...

If you're still visiting the website, which I assume you do not since you learned its users are mostly ex-Jehovah's Witnesses, try to learn about child sexual abuse in the religion. I understand that child sexual abuse can happen in every religion because of bad individuals who happen to be sexual predators; however, it is not the case with Jehovah's Witnesses. The problem in this religion is not that certain individuals abuse children; the main problem is that the religion itself and its administrative policies are there to protect paedophiles.
I suggest you to learn about the Australian Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and what it has determined in regards to the Jehovah's Witness religion. If you do not have time, check those clips available on Youtube that show what happened in court: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpziVM4MyTEDLQh8vvbWcllzSqaiI12JD
If, however, you do have time, watch all 8 days of interrogations and investigation. All 8 days are available on Youtube also. Here is a playlist of all days: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPQ6KZ-AGhVQbadlzMQN26dvMPzddxlui
In addition to the above, a similar investigation is being led in the UK. In the UK, the organisation of Jehovah's Witnesses were told and directly ordered by the Charity Commission not to destroy any evidence in regards to child sexual abuse situation in the religion. However, the leaders of the organisation, called the Governing Body, sent a letter to the elders in the UK commanding them to destroy all evidence of child sexual abuse. You can find everything in the news. Here is one article: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/jehovahs-witnesses-paedophile-sex-abuse-7278824
You may also read this Wikipedia article in regards to this issue, and remember to pay attention to the section on the topic of the two-witness rule, which is especially troubling: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehovah%27s_Witnesses%27_handling_of_child_sex_abuse
