I can say a lot of crap about the Jws but I saw no racism in any of the halls I was in. In fact I lived in one area that there was almost no blacks for 200 miles. A friend of mine who went to bethel and came home married to a black every one bent over backward to her. If anyone was racist it was the black sister from NYC. She would dress her kids like some Bush mandingo robes and those round coffee can hats in wild colors. She had never been to Africa and was getting into the who Roots thing. Even the world treated her with kid gloves. I knew a worldly girl who was as straight as an arrow, she took turns driving to work with the black sister and stopped. She said that she was drunk half the time she would drive to work and it scared her. The black sister also had a horrible driving record she must have wrecked 4 cars in a few years. No one would question her because they did not want to get accused of being racist so she got away with murder.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is Dead
by cofty inthe so-called caliph, one of the most evil men in human history, has blown himself up along with three of his young children while being pursued by american special forces.. the ambition of isis was to expand the territory of the caliphate under the leadership of al-baghdadi to whom individual jihadists swear allegiance.
now isis have nowhere to call home and no leader.
what a pathetic bunch of losers.. they will of course appoint a new caliph and reprisal attacks will no doubt follow in western capitals by christmas but the more contemptible they appear they less likely it is that young men and women will join their delusional cause.. respect to the elite forces who hunted him down - those on the front line and the many intelligence specialists who made it possible.

That may be but we don't stop killing the bastards because they get replaced. I remember when Reagan bombed Momar and killed his wife and kids and he shut the F up and was not promoting terrorism at least publicly for many years. Islam only understands violence it is the medicine they have chosen and we need to give them all they want.

It depends on who I was with, if it was super elder and sister it was shit, but when me and the guys went out and went to the mall it was great fun.

Go Trump. Maybe if Obama had not been so pandering to Islam a few more Americans would be alive.

Did you have a Narcissistic JW Parent?
by Butterfly607 indid anyone else have a parent who could be described as highly narcissistic who was a jw?
how was that for you growing up?
which was worse - the narcissistic religion or the narcissistic parent?.

My mother was. So were my elder GF and GM, but I think the religion plays on that crap. You are better, smarter and able to see clear because you are a JW. I saw it in kids who would treat others in school as inferior and would soon die. The cult is dangerous on so many levels.

What happens to Bethelites?
by rickroll inso if someone puts their life into serving the cult for free at bethel, then say after 25 or 30 years they are not able to for one reason or another such as illness, or family issue or old age, does the cult have any safety net for these people or is it you serve until you can't and when you can't you just go away?

Letter Detailing My Latest JW Encounter
by Roger Kirkpatrick into whom it may concern: .
i am writing this letter in the hope of reconnecting with two jehovah’s witness elders whom i met at a literature display in downtown new braunfels, across the street from krause’s.
i explained to them that my daughter is a jehovah’s witness and, therefore, i am somewhat familiar with their beliefs.

As a JW Did You Prefer a “Stricter” Congregation or a More Liberal One?
by minimus inin my experience, there were three types of witnesses.
some were barely witnesses while others were extremely conservative types who followed the letter of the law.
and then you had those in the middle who just went with the flow.. i knew many witnesses who “felt safe” being in a stricter environment.they were actually proud that they belonged to such and such congregation because it was filled with strict bethelites..

The OP is spot on. I was in both types of cult halls. One was so conservative it was silly. I was told to meet with the elders because I shot a possum for not respecting gods creation, and in another it was fine if the teens had a beer party at the beach. I found that in both though that the parents would give a pass to their own kids for not following the cults teaching. Its a joke no a nightmare top to bottom.
