Is there any proof of JW.org being a UN NGO again? I would love to see it for future reference to wake up a few family members!

The Watchtower Society's Registration With The United Nations REVISITED! [By Jamaican Winston Gillum]
by Golden4Altar inthe watchtower society's registration with the united nations revisited!
[by jamaican winston gillum].
this video makes a very factual, excellent presentation on the morally precarious position being placed upon all active jehovah's witnesses globally, because of the watchtower society's clandestine affiliation with the united nations as ngos, in the recent past.. please click here to see video: http://jehovahstruth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=83.

The TWO new things to come this year for J.W Org !
by Phizzy inwhile having my first strong black coffee of the day, i was thinking about what may be to come next as the org.
rapidly goes mainstream, and this is what i came up with :.
1) they will introduce for sunday, the after meeting fellowship, a time for just chatting but with the added bonus of coffee and snacks.

2024 What's Afoot with World Religions?
by KerryKing inthe parliament of the world's religions, member of the united religions initiative, has on their website a focus24 page, they call this year the year of democracy.. apparently an unusually large proportion of the world's countries are holding national elections this year, it's certainly the case here in ireland.
this somehow is the focus of their mission, it reads well, you know peace, love and justice etc.
i am wondering if the the watchtower society is a part of this movement, seeing as they have the 501c3 agreement they are also a state church, therefore bound to follow the states laws and regulations for fear of fines or loss of the 501c3 religious charity status, loss of tax exemption etc.. if so, we could be seeing many more changes this year.. does anyone have more detailed info on what rules and regulations 501c3 religious charities have to comply with?

Does anyone have more detailed info on what rules and regulations 501c3 religious charities have to comply with? It certainly explains the JW compliance with all things COVID, had they not they probably would have been fined as being in breach of contract and possibly lose their tax free status.
Realising now that the majority of the well known religions have this charity status in commonwealth countries and other lands, it is suddenly very clear to me how easy it will be for the world's 'kings and merchants' to turn on 'babylon the great' and make 'her devastated and naked' in one day. All they need do is revoke charity status, based on let's say CSA and Violation of Human Rights, fine the churches, repossess all their properties, stocks, bonds etc and they would all be finished within no time at all.
Did Norway get the ball rolling? Interesting times for sure, would love to hear others' feedback!

Will recent dress-code changes affect the WTS negatively?
by Wonderment inin a span of a few months time, we have had many unexpected changes announced by the jw organization.
some here have expressed the belief that a great number of witnesses will leave the religion.
in fact, there is a great probability the opposite will be true.. yeah, ancient hardliners will have a hard time assimilating these changes, but the younger generation will likely welcome these changes.

The WT changed the dress code right after they lost the Spain court case against the Victims of Jehovah's Witnesses Association, where the Judge said that JWs are a cult because of the level of control they have over their members' dress and grooming.
This has nothing to do with them wanting to be more appealing as a religion, this is damage control, and if Norway is anything to go by, then WT stand to lose a lot lot more.

New light isn't that new outside the USA?
by KerryKing inall this recent new light etc has everyone talking but none of it is that unusual here in ireland.
i've been df'd for 15 years, my parents started talking to me again when i had my first child nearly 13 years ago now.
last year my sister in law started talking to me again also, at the one meeting i attended last year quite a few people chatted to me and said hello.. i'm just wondering if all this is only a big deal in the usa or is this neck of the woods just particularly rebellious anyway?

When I lived in Spain for a few years, I remember meeting American JW tourists who couldn't believe that sisters were allowed to wear spaghetti strap tops haha. That was in 40°C+

I'm just wondering if all this is only a big deal in the USA or is this neck of the woods just particularly rebellious anyway? 15 years ago we had elders with full beards in the cong, one elder's wife wore trousers when she wanted to, it did send tongues wagging but that's all. Elders didn't always wear full suit on platform, mismatched was also ok. Either ties or bow ties were fine on platform. Hardly any man wore full suit going in the ministry, wrong climate for that carry on.
Df'd children were never kicked out of their home and witnesses didn't necessarily stop visiting said home because of a df'd family member living there.
During COVID quite a few elders didn't take the Vax, they weren't removed and are still there now.
Any other countries as relaxed as Ireland??

Who really is the Faithful and Discreet Slave? The recent changes and the Governing Body's 10 year plan
by redsetter2 ini am sure we were all shocked at the governing body update #2 with the unusual and impulsive changes set forth.. i am an insider at whq, and when i was on reddit and in communication with avoidjw i explained to the best of my ability that the approach on disfellowshipping was going to change based on the new light at the 2023 agm, that the jubilee rumor was false, and there were going to be changes on how jws approached disfellowshipping in response to the norway situation if it didn't turn out in watchtower's favor.
the decision came because of a legal blow to watchtower, not because "holy spirit" wad directing a faithful slave, who is going to become the "evil slave", more explanation on this soon.. everything i stated came true.
i left reddit exjw community due to the immature and mentally unstable nature there, and yet as has been the case my words came true.

Does anyone happen to have a list of the 340 religions the UN claims to have on its one world religion initiative?

What has changed since January 2009?
by KerryKing inhi, i was df'd in jan 09. have not been in touch much with the jws apart from a few memorials i went to.. what with all the online presence they have nowadays, it just feels like a totally different religion.
i have seen them with their tablets and phones at the hall, hardly any physical bibles or books at all, makes me think how ai (or the borg) could so easily change words and phrasing in the bible to suit them without making a big deal of it, like 'a new light' talk or wt article.
doctrinally has much changed since 2009?.

Thanks for those links, very interesting timing indeed after the Australian Royal Commission!

So there was a coup in 2012 where 8 old men took the reins from the other 143992? 😅
That's quite funny actually, and no one questioned that?!!
