  I don't remember ever really preaching or discussing the forgiveness of sins, I think we all just focus d on getting people to baptism stage ( i never got anyone there for which I am so grateful!) and that would take care of everything lol

  this was leaked only few days ago and it's a small segment of the video from the 2024 convention that has already started.

  the video shows a jw logo down while worried jws are watching it as a news item on their tv screens, others are seen hiding from the police, others driving is the countryside to escape the authorities.

  Either they know what's in the pipeline because they are a State Church, 501c3 religious charity and therefore have to toe the line, just like they did with Covid or else they lose their tax free status, and are 'preparing' their members as per instructions. OR they know they are going under because of all the CSA payouts they know they will have to make and they'll try and spin it as an all out attack on God's people bla bla bla.

  The interesting thing will be to see how the rf receive it.

  They sure talk about Jehovah's hand a lot!

  Poor Jesus doesn't get so much as a mention.

  To me, after a while they start to sound superstitious and it brought to mind the reminder not to look for omens.

  good morning all, i would love some genuine advice please.. i have an old friend who is still in the org, but has never been the very staunch type.

  however, she is going through a very rough patch in life, (past deeds from youth caught up and now is in prison) and i reached out to her by old fashioned snail mail.. by her reply she sounds more pimi than ever and finding some sort of comfort in the literature.

  would i be wrong to attempt to wake her up, would that actually be a cruel thing to do right now?

  Btw you look so much like my own Dad, I'm wondering are you a relation. He's the only one of a large JW family still PIMI, all his siblings left years ago. They're all Dutch.

  By her reply she sounds more PIMI than ever and finding some sort of comfort in the literature. Would I be wrong to attempt to wake her up, would that actually be a cruel thing to do right now? Should I wait till she is released, although then she will be physically in again and me still the df'd one.

  Maybe I have answered my own question, but I'd like to hear others' view on it. Thanks in advance.
