They don't allow whole blood transfusions but do allow fractions in all variations, so technically they do allow blood transfusions.

Is 1st Century advice on marriage still relevant in today’s modern world?
by liam inrepublicans want to make a law that forbids ‘uncontested divorce”.
they based this on this scripture.. matthew 19. is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?”.
4 “haven’t you read,” jesus replied, “that at the beginning the creator ‘made them male and female,’and said, ‘for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’ so they are no longer two, but one flesh.

Sad observation
by Gorb inreading about jw.org rules changes these days gives me a sad observation.. everything what "is" today, can be gone tomorrow.. that makes it all worthless.
you were an elder, searching for evidence, and proof to df a person.
because he or she was not humble enough.

You're absolutely right. When I was dfd coz I couldn't be arsed to toe the line, I did figure I'd be back within the year.
I was warned by family that'd I'd 'be devoured' out there in the wicked world.
Immediately on leaving I found the most genuine caring people. The WT wants us to believe that everyone is evil, even if they seem ok. What a far cry from Jesus way of talking about and treating people, like lost sheep, not evil snakes!!
After 15 years out I can honestly say I have not come across any other group of people as gossippy, slanderous, clicky and judgemental as the JWs.

In the OT was polygamy allowed for the purpose of filling the earth, and later growing the Israelite nation? Like a massive breeding programme?
No longer needed once the Jews were rejected so back to one wife like Adam!

Olympic games/ jw.org keep on the watch
by Gorb inthe main article on jw.org is about the succesfull olympic games 2024 in paris.. many withness watch all the sport episodes of the games, but jw.org comes with a sour story about the games and not reaching real peace.. again jw.org is on the wrong side of history a d doesn't feel the public anx jw opinion.
the closing remarks of the ioc president bach, thaf the games will not reach peace but plant peace in the hart of people was a strong message.. the organization and message of the games is all that jw.org wants to, but can't.. very sad and narrow minded, as ever.

Seems like WT only wants peace on THEIR terms, by the killing of billions of people. They're on the WEF program, not God's.

Marriage was between man woman and God, only relatively recently did church and state hijack marriages as another way to control the population. And as another source of revenue. Slavery isn't condemned anywhere in the Bible but then it still exists everywhere, we're all wage and or tax slaves. Freedom in this world is an illusion, or why is it that only the super rich don't pay tax at all.

Their Bible trained conscience, sorry WT trained, allows for all the changes because they're all Jehovah's doing, they're just following orders, sorry I mean following the 'new light'.

But they own both corporations don't they?
So there really is no schism?
Under Aims for IBSA it states 'legal agency for Jehovah's Witnesses '.
What does that mean legally, how does that affect individual 'baptised' (actually sworn in) members of the religion?

Do JWs believe Jesus is an angel?
by slimboyfat ini would suggest:.
the short answer is yes.. the longer answer is a qualified yes, with some caveats.
the short answer is yes because jehovah’s witnesses teach that jesus is michael the archangel, their leader, eldest and most powerful, and have taught this since the very beginning of the religion.

In the Lord's Prayer though, Jesus does not end with 'through Jesus Christ Amen', he doesn't even mention himself once in that prayer.
