Once again, a non answer to any of my points, just a repeat of worn out talking points. Very balanced.

There was discussion of HOW she could have broken the law, but I don't expect you to not know the difference based on past discussions.
If you can call outright character assassination using flimsy evidence and totally slanted opinions a discussion, then I suppose this a discussion.
All I see is an attempt to regurgitate the talking points of the far right, while sneering at any rational response.
Just because you say that you are merely asking this to be looked into is ridiculous. this has been looked into and been debunked by people who are far more qualified to ascertain the truth of the matter than you and your cohorts.
In essence, you are an example of the very thing the Russians tried to achieve by by their hacking and release of information, while hiring trolls to flood social media with false news and lies aimed at very select portions of our populace.
Please don't insult my intelligence by pretending posts like this are anything but excuses to disseminate your particular brand of venomous slander and innuendo.
You pretend to seek the truth, but dismiss out of hand any argument that doesn't agree with your viewpoint, even those that rightfully point out the flaws in your arguments with reason and logic.
Occasionally criticizing Trump doesn't make you somehow fair and balanced when 99% of your criticism is aimed at the left.
This whole attempt to deflect from the real story of the Russian involvement in our elections is becoming ludicrous. The leaks are disturbing, but concentrating on them to the exclusion of the more important issue at hand is indicative of an attempt to hide something. That the majority of the Republicans go along with this charade is a disgrace, and will not benefit them in the long run.
So go ahead with your exciting revelations, but I think you'll find that most people see what they are, a return to a mindset and time that I had hoped was disappearing from this country. We still have a long way to go.

As usual, Occam's razor fails again when conspiracy theorists put their heads together. I see no proof presented to confirm that Rice's requests were political, aside from her being associated with Obama. She had every right to request the unmasking of individuals if it was pertinent to the understanding of the conversations being monitored. In some cases, unmasking is necessary to let an individual know if they are being discussed by other parties with ill intent. In such cases, it would be gross negligence if the third party were not informed, and then came to harm.
As I recall, the Slate article even brought out the fact that it most likely wasn't illegal for her to request that information. Also, any attempt to correlate unmasking with leaking is baseless.
From what I can see, the assumption has been made that solely because it was Susan Rice in the Obama administration who made the requests, it was automatically a nefarious plot. No proof given, only claims of malfeasance.
I found it comical that as soon as this report aired, the comment section on Slate was inundated by right wing trolls, who pounced on this little scrap of nothing like a pack of wild dogs in their need to have any confirmation of Trump's Tweet.
When you have any credible evidence to show that Susan Rice leaked the names of Trump's associates to anyone in the intelligence community who wasn't entitled to that information, I'll listen.
Till then, you are simply conspiracy theorists, with a clear bias that consumes you with hatred for anything Obama, and willingly led by any news, however baseless, that confirms your bias.

1,000 Paid Russian Trolls Spread Fake News On Hillary Clinton, Senate Intelligence Heads Told
by Village Idiot injust when you thought you've heard it all, out comes some new information on the russian hijacking of our election.
former fbi agent clint watts testified about the full extent of russian interference.
it goes back further than we thought; more extensive and broader in its reach (marco rubio was in their sights); and with greater planning.. even russians who were in charge of this fake news operation have mysteriously died.. watts told the committee to “follow the dead bodies” to learn more, referring to several russians connected to kremlin fake news who have died in the past few months.. what else can we expect from such a murderous thug who expresses such gratitude to his own men?

Yes, clickbait fake news articles on social media and some WikiLeaks emails showing that political parties operate exactly as we all imagined they did was all it took to take down Hillary. Sad.
So, If (I'm not saying it is) it turns out that all this speculation is true, are you going to insist that all that Russia did had no effect on the election?
Please , no deflection, Yes or No.

Me: "there is an intrinsic terrorist and Human rights problem within Islam"
That's exactly my opinion. If you'd just said that at the beginning we would have avoided all this angst.

Of Islam? Oh yea! more than a bit
Thanks for your honesty.
I think it's funny that I didn't venture an opinion at all whether Islam was good or bad, and you folks come out of the woodwork to attack it. Next time I'll just post the word "Islam" and see if you get all hot and bothered about that.

So, I take it some of you still have a bit of bashing to do.
Bohm, I admire your well thought out comments. If you're reading this, I hope you'll reconsider commenting on this subject anymore, as it just encourages more vitriol from certain people that I shall not mention, as I'm tired of the insults.

JW's And Their Education Level
by Yesu Kristo Bwana Wangu ini was thinking about this.... in my congregation, i was literally the only one with universitary education, out of a cong from around 110 people.... and we're very close to a very big university, which makes it even weirder.. on the other hand... sooo many here with their own business, mostly small cleaning businesses.
cleaning windows, or cleaning somewhere else... painters.... all have jobs that do not require any education level, cos they never had a decent education.. how is the composition of the jw people/congs that you know about?.
how many painters... cleaners... compared to people with jobs that require higher education?.

My eldest son graduated from a local University and was immediately hired by the same school to work in administration.
Good salary, great benefits (immediate medical, a month of paid vacation), and within a year married his dream girl. Has a flexible schedule that allows him to auxiliary pioneer, while his wife pioneers. Able to take a month off to go where the need is great this summer. Damn that education!

Unless the parents or children are motivated, the chances for success are slim. There are at least three families in my congregation where the grown children still live at home, with marginal jobs at best.
