I always found it interesting when studying the various versions of the Elders manual when I served as an elder that Scriptural backing was often times absent from the different guidelines provided to elders. It make some think that maybe the Scotch was the only spirit directing these writings.

by neat blue dog inthen we get to one of the main purposes of the book, a catalog of all the sins you can get disciplined for.
just to be sure, this disclaimer kicks things off:.
listed below are offenses that may require review by a judicial committee.

Literature Carts are Really a Vast Spy Network
by HiddenPimo ini am not sure if this is getting into the tin foil hat arena, but what if one of the reasons for the carts is to spy out who is leading a double life and to catch the pimo's?
they are everywhere in common public areas.
like the stasi of e. germany.. i know i may be reaching, but we all know the way zealous j dubs love to rat out anyone who steps out of line.. they can't be there to place literature, because no one is taking it.

They can't be there to place literature, because no one is taking it. It's a 3 hour coffee break for most Pioneers.
This is speaking from personal experience.

New Light - Blood Policy to Forbid Breast Feeding
by HiddenPimo inso i kid of course, however, if we really looked at the basis for the no blood policy - how does scientific fact not garner attention.
why no articles in the awake or wt on the marvels of the composition of breast milk?.
white blood cells protect the body from illness and disease.

White blood cells protect the body from illness and disease. Around week 16 of your pregnancy, you begin making colostrum, the earliest form of breast milk. It contains 1 to 5 million white blood cells per milliliter. Even on the low end of the spectrum, that’s 100 times more than what your blood carries! No wonder colostrum is referred to as “liquid gold”! By six months postpartum, the white blood cell count drops to 100,000 cells per milliliter—10 times your own concentration.

I wonder why this hasn't been posted on the JW.BORG latest news section? It is always sunshine and rainbows and nothing bad ever. Their news service is worse than state run TV in North Korea.

Buzz Words Used In Watchtower PublicationsThe next time that you read a book or magazine published by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, see how many of these buzz words and phrases you come across.
This Clearly Shows . . .
Obviously . . .
The Bible plainly says . . . (Even if the Bible plainly says something, the Watchtower is expert in twisting that scripture to mean something else.)
Logically . . . (I love this one. It means that "we are guessing here". We're probably wrong, but for now we'll take a chance.")
Has clearly shown . . .
Justifiably . . .
We have clearly seen . . .
Surly this is reasonable . . .
The evidence shows . . .
We might reasonable assume. . . (This is another good one. Reasonable to whom?)
The evidence should be clear . . .
Most/Many Scholars . . . (What scholars? Name them. Who are these scholars. I am beginning to think that it is a family named "Scholars.")
Reasonably, then . . .
Surely then . . .
Thus the facts make clear . . . (The Watchtower made up the facts.)
Truly . . .
What must one do . . .
Apparently...
Most certainly...
Of course...
Isn't it reasonable to conclude... (We don't really know, we're guessing.)
Possibly...
Fine examples...
Probably...
Thus, we can see
A mature christian...... (Who doesn't want to be a mature christian. After this phrase we are all apt to agree with what is being said.) -
