  i was doing research on another topic and this question came to mind.

  notice how the wts dances around the question below and then my comments about that and whether historically did the wts see isaiah as applying to all jws or only anointed members, spiritual israel (galatians 6:16)?.

  I think it is because people would have a hard time saying Jesus' Witnesses or Jesus's, and would be saying Jesuseeze's Witnesses...

  That whole apostrophes for possession is a tough doctrine to overcome...

  Has anyone on here used this forum to announce they were out and revealed their real name?

  just wondering if anyone has ever posted their personal information and have proof that the borg is watching and sent the gestapo to get them?.

  i will be announcing my resignation and da myself - and i am objectively looking at either doing it bud dwyer (not really like him but by extension) style at a meeting or an email blast or just giving a letter to the boe?.

  any advice is appreciated.

  the talk outline issued the usual warning - only those mentioned in revelation 14:1 are allowed to partake of the bread & wine.. revelation 14:1 - then i saw, and look!

  the lamb standing on mount zion, and with him 144,000 who have his name and the name of his father written on their foreheads.

  for active/fading jw's - did your bible reasoning/logic/instincts tell you that the following interpretation makes sense, or did you simply surrender your thinking abilities to others who claimed to be better informed than you?.

  The memorial is so ritualistic that no one even thinks during the talk they just sit and zone out. Nobody stops and thinks about anything anymore and those that do are afraid to say anything about it due to fear.

  a man stabbed his wife outside her church thursday afternoon at kingdom hall on old spartanburg road, authorities said.. leonard edwards jr., 46, was being held thursday night in the greenville county detention center on charges of attempted murder and possession of a knife during commission of a violent crime, according to master deputy laura campbell of the sheriffs office and jail records.. the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, campbell said.

  she said the woman was stabbed once in the back.. about 30 to 40 church members were present for the bible study, campbell said.. a man asked the woman to come out of the church, and she did, campbell said.. she then ran back into the church followed by a man armed with a knife, campbell said.. the man had knocked her to the ground and stabbed her, she said.. when deputies arrived, congregation members were holding a man in the sanctuary, campbell said.. .

  I informed my family that the reason I will not be attending the memorial is because I believe Jesus is my mediator..

  i said i’m sorry i just can’t go because i believe that jesus is my mediator.

  i guess you can imagine the conversation that ensued.

  why is it that all of the friends show happiness and excitement when a meeting is cancelled?.

  no meetings week of memorial "what a blessing from jah!".

  EVERYONE is exhausted from the routine of meetings and I have yet to hear someone upset about a cancelled meeting.

  Have the memorial and Circuit Assembly in same month! 2 weeks of no meetings - everyone is so ecstati.

  here's the cruel, uncomfortable and dehumanizing description of transport for disfellowshipped ones:.

  in cases of real need, the elders can determine wheth-er some assistance may be provided.

  such assistance would be viewed as similar to public transportation in that there should be no conversing with the disfellowshipped or disassociated person.

  I always found it interesting when studying the various versions of the Elders manual when I served as an elder that Scriptural backing was often times absent from the different guidelines provided to elders. It make some think that maybe the Scotch was the only spirit directing these writings.

  Literature Carts are Really a Vast Spy Network

  i am not sure if this is getting into the tin foil hat arena, but what if one of the reasons for the carts is to spy out who is leading a double life and to catch the pimo's?

  they are everywhere in common public areas.

  like the stasi of e. germany.. i know i may be reaching, but we all know the way zealous j dubs love to rat out anyone who steps out of line.. they can't be there to place literature, because no one is taking it.

  They can't be there to place literature, because no one is taking it. It's a 3 hour coffee break for most Pioneers.
