Thanks Dozy. I haven't read that info for probably 8 years. Reading it the first time was so eyeopening. This time it really brought on feelings of anger. The nerve of that group is beyond what I can tolerate.

Exjw2814,
A scary thing huh? I guess I disagree. I've been an atheist for a lot longer than you say you were, but as one I never felt the need to not discuss the bible or god. In fact, the more I do discuss it the more confident I am that the bible god does not exist. BTW, I do pray, to Clint Eastwood, gotta say the results aren't too bad.

It just hit me that I had this same feeling of euphoria and peace comeover me when after much investigation, I came to the realization that the bible god I once "worshipped" does not exist. Wonder what term I should use to describe my experience.

What is the effect of something growing a certain percentage rate over time?
by Elsewhere inthis is one of the most important concepts you could ever grasp.
unfortunately humans do not naturally understand this idea, so we need to throw in a bit of simple math to help us understand.. below is a series of videos that will help you understand.
yes, these are extraordinarily boring, but you will be a much better person for watching them.. .

Why did Russell look so different?
by startingover ini have a photo taken in 1915 with c. t. russell standing in a large group of men.
i have seen lots of pictures of him but usually he is by himself.
something that stood out in the picture is how different he looked from everyone else in the picture.

I guess a beard is one thing, but that with the long hair seems to make him different. Like the japanese guy.
