That would explain that whenever my wife would complain to the elders about me, they would respond: "Read your bible more and try to be a better wife."
It's in the bible and is inspired by god, so it must be true.
i'm probably going to say some things here that will disappoint many.
there are some that may look back over the years and say "man i really blew it" i'm not writing the following to scold for failures, but rather to help those who are young enough to put into practice what god wills for their life, and also to those of us who are in our middle years that still have time to change some things, in order to please god and find a peace that only being in his will can bring.
first let me say that god didn't create man for you.
That would explain that whenever my wife would complain to the elders about me, they would respond: "Read your bible more and try to be a better wife."

i keep seeing new light everywhere its hard to keep up with the latest is there a spot where someone is keeping track of it all for everyone to see?.
New light is similar to how the light of new stars are born from a stellar nursery in a nebula far away.
Except in this case new light is born from the collective asses of the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses.
The closer you get to the source of the new light the better you will understand it!
the november 2016 watchtower is now available and it has more new light but i can't quite figure out what they are saying.
it relates to when the jws were released from the captivity of babylon the great (false religion).
i am not attempting to discuss that in this post.
the few thousand Bible Students zealously distributed 10,000,000 copies of a tract featuring the subject “The Fall of Babylon”—a hard-hitting indictment of Christendom.
Somehow I doubt this. Did the Bible Students turn in field service reports in 1917? That's 3,333 tracts for each and every B.S.
They may have printed 10m copies of the tract, that does not mean they were read by 10m people. Keep in mind that toilet paper was in very short supply during this time period.
i have been a jw all my life, while i also have a "spiritual divorce", which means i can remarry a jw again.
i am not sure if i want to go that route again and dating in the jw world feels like a struggle sometimes.
with all the rules.
tens of thousands of protesters are expected to show up in cleveland this week for the republican national convention.
muslim groups.
mexican groups.
They should drop the head of the NRA into the middle of the protesters to referee!
as the title says--i'm out of here for good.. the site is full of atheists, communists, 7th day adventists, creationists, believers, deceivers, receivers, football supporters,.
dodgy types, cantleave---and assorted wankers.. so no place for me--because i'm none of the above so dont fit in.
so--this is goodbye forever my friends--its been almost average knowing you.
Sometimes this place is like a revolving door. Its just a matter of time that someone gets stuck in it and end up right back here. see you soon!
sliced bread sold for the first time, july 7, 1928.http://history1900s.about.com/od/1920s/qt/slicedbread.htm .
Sliced bread may have been the best thing up to 1928. But as AA points out many better inventions since then such as the ipod.
Prior to sliced bread anyone could cut bread with a knife and get the same thing. Prior to the Ipod, it would be physically impossible to carry thousands of songs with me anywhere I went.
My vote goes to the Ipod or mp3 player as the best thing since sliced bread.
Edit to add: probably the smart phone would top the ipod since it can play Mp3 plus much more.
i know that some people on the board have experience of being mormons, so i would be interested in your feedback.
at church this afternoon it was an uncanny experience.
in the past i've read a lot about mormons, so i thought i was prepared in general for what it would be like.
SBF: Many aspects of the service remind you of 19th century America: the look of the church, the language, the hymns, the dress, the traditional roles for women
One thing that I have noticed about wacky 19th century american religions is that others seem to revere the leaders of their movements to this day no matter how wacky their ideas were. The Mormons and Christian Science have high regard for their founding fathers.
The Watchtower religion seems almost embarrassed by its founder C.T. Russel and Rutherfraud compared to these others.
well, thats it folks.. my identity on here has been rumbled and reported to the elders.
someone, somehow, has figured out that im a member of this site and - rather than speak to me - has promptly reported me to the elders.
i just feel sad for my daughter.
For others who are in a similar situation.
