“No Calamity will Befall Us” in paragraph 14 the following is stated:
14 Anointed Christians are like alien residents living in tents apart from this system of things. (1 Peter 2:11) ‘Not even a plague draws near their tent.’ Whether our hope is heavenly or earthly, we are no part of the world, and we are not infected by such spiritually deadly plagues as its immorality, materialism, false religion,and worship of “the wild beast” and its “image,” the United Nations. bold mine.
In the very next article entitled “How Do You Handle Hypocrisy?” the following is stated on page 23:
Hypocrisy, on the other hand, will ultimately prove death-dealing to those who practice it. In the end, hypocrisy will be openly exposed. “There is nothing covered over that will not become uncovered,” said Jesus Christ, “and secret that will not become known.” (Matthew 10:26; Luke 12:2) Wise King Solomon declared: “The true God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad.” Ecclesiastes 12:14. – bold mine
So there you have it. The WTS has prophesied their own ‘death-dealing’ blow when they are exposed and their hidden works have been revealed.
By exposing this hypocrisy on the part of the WTS we are working as agents of Jehovah as stated in the above scriptures.

in fact, the society has done just about everything it could do to ensure that its history will be forgotten.
in the first book devoted to discussing the history of jehovahs witnesses, this house and its history is not even mentioned.

Beth Shan was built under the direction of the WTS with a bomb shelter! About 250 feet from the main house and above the three-foot-thick ceiling of solid concrete was a secret entrance to this shelter in a small bathroom at ground-level. One would have to open the medicine cabinet and pull a concealed lever to gain access to this shelter.I was not aware of this property. Since it was not mentioned much by the WTS do you have any other facts about his property? Is there any independent proof of the bomb shelter? Does it still exist today? Have you ever visited this house, or seen the bomb shelter? Those would be some cool pictures.
If you could get us into these houses, I would fly out and bring my digital camera for this project.

the posts in the elders meeting thread got me thinking about this, so i've spun it off for into another thread.. were you ever 'counseled' because "some" in the congregation were disturbed by things you said/did/listened to/watched?.
here is just some of the stupid stuff that the elders brought me in on.
though they were usually handled through shepherding calls, not in the back room at the kh.. 1: because i decided to change my first and middle names.
I got it once at a quick build for wearing a t-shirt with a nike logo on it.
The brothers made me put duct tape over the logo.

I got it for showing the movie ET to some of the other children along with mine. They said that ET had too many parallels with the life of Jesus.
We used to call the back room, the beating room instead of the meeting room.
