  if a thousand years are in the eyes of jehovah as one day, and we look at history from jehovah's point of view, we should realize that adam was created six days ago and jehovah made immediate plans to restore what he had lost for his offspring.

  If a thousand years are in the eyes of Jehovah as one day, and we look at history from Jehovah's point of view, we should realize that Adam was created six days ago and Jehovah made immediate plans to restore what he had lost for his offspring.

  39 hours and 45 minutes later He had to act to prevent the demons and Satan from ruining the earth with their violence and to give a clean start to a few righteous people.

  10 hours later, the same day, a covenant with Abraham was in place to give a guarantee that Jehovah would provide a ransom and restore things to their rightful state.

  The very next day, Israel left Egypt, the law covenant was put in place and the temple was built.

  One day, 1 hour and 48 minutes later the ransom was paid and mankind saved.

  2 hours and 5 minutes ago Jehovah placed his son on the throne in His kingdom to finalize the arrangements for the new system and within minutes it will all be over for those wanting to disrupt His purposes! As the saying goes: "All in a day's work."

  And some still think Jehovah is slow respecting His promises!

  DON'T GIVE UP...WE ARE SO CLOSE!

  Using this same logic it can be said that "This Generation" can be around for another 80,000 years or so, give or take a couple of years. Yah just around the corner..... we are so close....from Jehovah's point of view.

  there is no evidence that our time has any specific biblical prophetic importance if the 1914 claims are wrong.even doctrines like the "two-class" system, which is a unique interpretation by the jehovah's witnesses, is actually dependent on the 1914 date.

  the bible states that the final fall and destruction of jerusalem was in the 19th regnal year of nebuchadnezzar (jeremiah 52:12; 2 kings 25:1-4; 2. chron 26:11,19).

  the most secure source of absolute dates comes from contemporary inscription with astronomical observations.

  Jan,

  I first read this essay on H2O when I first started having doubts while studing the Daniel book in the congregation book study. I was just a lurker over there so I never got a chance to say thanks.

  Many of the essays by Farkel, AlanF, Norm and yourself were very instrumental in opening my eyes as why a any religious that knowingly promotes a false doctrine such as this can't be the truth. Even if many other doctrines are in fact truth, knowingly promoting even one single false doctrine makes the Watchtower just as much a false religion as all others they condemn.

  Since I did not get a chance to comment or thank you for the obvious effort that went into such work when I first read it on H20, I would like to do so now. Thank you!

  It was essays like this that brought me to the DB forums. Sadly much of this valuable information is now overshadowd by noise of much less value with regard to exposing the WTS that even myself am guilty of contributing to.

  Thanks again for reposting some of these essays here as I am sure there are many new posters and lurkers who may have never seen them before.

  Sorry but the bible says that many would come in the last days claiming to be you. There are a lot of skeptics at this place, so if you want us to believe it is really you then your going to have to produce some kind of sing. A miracle or something. Say could you change my tap water into wine? Maybe get Fred Hall laid, or make the GB of Jehovah's Witnesses tell the truth.

  Just a few suggestions lord, not trying to tell you what to do or anything, just want to be sure it's really you man.

  I do have one question for you though. How come you reduced the quota for hours in field service for publishers from 60 in 1943 down to 10 today when we are so close to the end of this system? Don't you want to save as many lives before you wipe everyone off the face of this planet?

  hello all.... for those who don't know..my wife and i have been married for almost 7 years, she had left the wt before we met.

  i have never been a jw.

  after 9/11 my mother in law used fear to "scare" her back into the (b)org.. ok, now 10 months later our marriage is in serious trouble.

  Today I think the Lord's quota is something like 10 hours.

  The Lord is such a slacker these days!

  i started to call this thread "porno" or something like that -- to get attention -- but since i don't know exactly what porno is, i thought i'd get down to the nitty gritty with the title.. here's the deal: i like looking at pics and/or live video or, if i'm lucky (or out of town) real live females who have no clothes on.

  it's not something i do all the time, but when the mood strikes.... okay.

  now, before i go any fu'tha, let me 'splain something.... i'm the type of guy that likes natural thangs.

  Raised as a JW, I was always told looking at nakid women would make me to go blind.

  Now where are my glasses?

  But seriously I tried to bring the human nature aspect of this out to my wife once by showing while at a magazine counter that had many skin mags. I and asked her why she thought the ratio of Men's mags were so much greater than mags for women?

  It did not go over very well with her and she only became convinced that most men are perverts.

  would you be an active witness or even an inactive one if you could change a few things?

  for example: let's say the blood issue could be resolved, would you stay?

  or if 1914 doctrine was dissolved or the disfellowshipping/ shunning view changed?

  Like hippikon, it would at least take them comming clean about the fraud for me to even consider. I think they would let the religion self destruct before that ever happened. "pride before fall...."

  How about this:

  Would you go back if by doing so you would be guaranteed to live a heathy live to the age of 90

  however if you did not go back you would be dead within 5 years?

  Would this be like selling your soul to the devil WTBTS?

  This is not true, I would read what you post here no matter how long it is. I was raised as a JW and really do not know the details of any other religions, so here is your chance to make a convert. So this does interest me and I will read. If you can provide a convincing reply to the questions raised I will agree to invite the LDS into my home to talk more. However if you cop out now then I am like City fan and would say you QUANTUM will have become the reason I will never listen to a word the LDS have to say. So please, LET THE EVIDENCE BEGIN.

  You ask for someone to ask questions, someone did, so don't cop out now, please reply. Don't you know how to cut&paste from your other websites. It really does not take that long dude. or are you....

  i recieved this email today i thought you might find it interesting.. dear bill: i have a question for you.

  at book study last week, the conductor said that dateline's web site apologized for their show on jehovah's witnesses pedophiles because they had learned that the people interviewed on the show were "not who they claimed to be.

  " i tried to find dateline's web site to see what they said but i was unable to do so.

  guess i hadn't been paying "close attention" at the meetings a few years ago......apparently, jesus is not the mediator between god and men like the bible says, he's only the mediator between the 144,000 and jehovah - i guess the rest of us can go straight to hell in a handbasket...... .

  how long has this bizarre theory been around??!!

  i was absolutely stunned to hear this one, as i had never heard it before.

  ALL ELDERS and MS:

  The next time you pray at a meeting, you should close your prayer with:

  "We offer this prayer through the merits of the GB , amen"

  This would be more accurate, since Jesus is not your mediator.
